The difference is I don't see the two sites in competition. I think it's more of a complementary arrangement. No harm in Toyota bigging up Lexus as they're both the same company

Complimenting UA on this site serves a different purpose to complimenting them on their own site. On their own site your audience is the UA site authors, on this site it's to let people on here who don't visit UA very often know that it's much improved.

Well, as everyone knows I post there as much as I do here so i'm not knocking it. I visit every day, several times a day, as I do here and i'd like to think i'm valued equally at both sites.

However, I would like to see someone try and have a thread on OA saying how great Fakers site/forum is and see how long it lasts.
