'Operation Aisleyne Winner of BB7' thread has been on DS since June 17. Now approaching 13,000 posts. I resurrected it yesterday with an update. DS is always a very pro-Aisleyne place with one or two bedraggled losers slagging her off. This was the thread that gave birth to TeamAisleyne which is also going strong with lots of new posters since christmas. TA got the exclusive about the film role being pulled. Good work again by Tilly who has got some excellent contacts now. Smashing new makeover by Fenixx, too.

I've noticed that both DS and BBGF have been much more pro-Aisleyne over the last couple of months. Me thinks this is because all the "haters" had to go back to school?

I think Aisleyne's support has remained so strong because she struck a chord with the people who liked her. It's hard to explain but the end of BB7 seemed to be just the start and not the end and people want to see how things pan out for Aisleyne. I have noticed there are people who have not really used BB Gen since BB7 have come back on the forums for CBB5 and they still support Aisleyne whereas fans of other housemates may have changed there minds or just don't seem to be that bothered any more. At times it has seemed to be just like the summer when you see all the pro Aisleyne posts. |

Can't disagree with you on that, premier. It's great to see that Ais fans are committed in the long term, whereas fans of most other HMs stopped their love/loyalty the minute BB7 finished.
