How many people do you know, other than fellow Fakers, that use the word "methinks"? It's not a word I often hear but I've noticed it cropping up regularly in posts on this forum. I did a quick search and found that fifteen of us have used it. Apart from myself, they are brockolly, carrickmac, celticsky, goonkad, hotscotch, iluvwillmellor, juliejuliejulie, kama, mich007, remaha, rudyrudyrudy, SilentHill, tellurianna and xregretsromancex. Are we copying one another (consciously or subconsciously) or do we just think alike, not just in our opinions of Ash and the other housemates, but also in our choice of vocabulary. A bit of a coincidence, methought!  |

I use that word quite a lot, although obviously not on this forum, according to your research.  I wouldn't use it in speech though, unless I was quoting Shakespeare, but sometimes, when you're writing, it just seems to fit the bill.  |

I used the  function looking for methinks posted in the last 999 days with maximum results of 1000, then did the same again for me thinks but set to match whole phrase. It was just a case of looking down the search results to see who'd said it. |
