I don't think she has much of a singing voice as such, but she wouldn't need one if she was rapping. She has said that she writes poems, and the raps she made up in the house were very inventive, so she could be very good in this area.

Hello. Well,..mm. I dont think Aisleyne is a fantastic singer. Sorry I dont. However, I have,nt really heard her properly. People that sing under their breath sound quite different when they are putting their energy into it. I see Aisleyne quite easily in pop videos however and think she would be utterly fantastic in them. She is gorgeous. However no matter how gorgeous you are, if you cant sing, you cant sing. I am not convinced Aisleyne is a singer.. I AM a singer and I think I have got a good set of ears..no disrespect here folks... what I would say is that there are good recording studios and there are ways to make someone sound a lot better than they actually do. If Aisleyne has true talent in this area, we will get to hear for sure. Even if she is not particularly gifted in this area, there are still ways of making her sound fantastic. The only route she could not travel is LIVE singing if she is not that good just as Remaha has pointed out. He would be quite right. Do i think Ais should be a singer...NO. at the moment I dont think so, but only because I have not seen enough evidence to suggest she can sing. However when it was suggested that JORDAN have a pop career and I scorned that...i was reasonably surprised that she was not THAT bad.. However, todate, she herself has not made the pop stakes and I doubt she is going to either....nuff said...bout that.. Aisleyne would be best in a girl group, like beyonce....at least that sort of thing or girl thingycat dolls.....and yes girl rap like neneh cherry could be good for Ais....maybe!!

No she cant sing not from those clips. However, I will keep looking out for her in that area...I think she makes a fantastic model for now...it will open lots of avenues for her because of the circles she will mix in....so I would not be surprised at what comes onto the table in the future.

There could be potential there with a trained voice. Like most of us we only hear ourselves through the distortion of the of the skull bones so we don't sound like ourselves when heard on tape recorder. However if other people sound like they should on tape then logically what we hear on a tape recorder is what we sound like.

She was in tune which is better than some but it was only joke singing, really. You can't tell what she'd sound like if she was trying to sound good.
I couldn't say if she's got a good voice or not from the evidence I've seen so far.
Regards
Julian

However if other people sound like they should on tape then logically what we hear on a tape recorder is what we sound like. Yes you are right Nobrains. I have trained singers and one of the difficulties they have is when they learn to speak and sing on a microphone. They actually cannot believe it is themselves they are hearing. When you hear yourself, you are listening to bass, middle and top note sounds in entirety. The clarity and depth of your whole speaking voice is there. It does put people off initially untill they get used to it. Where Aisleyne is concerned she is singing or making sounds with her larynx ( bet I spelt that wrong) which makes her sound quite 'weedy' if you like. Most people do not realise that we have air in our lower back and in our lower front. This air is pumped up through the diaphram when we put out projected sounds. I.e., singing, shouting etc. When the proper breathing exercises have been learnt to be able to expel the air correctly through the system to extract the maximum vocal power, then we can determine more the sound of someones voice.. Breathing is very important as a Vocal must have 'Control'. Some people are very natural with the control of their vocal sounds and some are not. Some people are also just unable to pick up certain sounds and are simply what we call 'flat' or more cheekily put 'tone deaf'. I am not suggesting Ais is either of these. From what I heard however, she is a larynx singer and has no depth or projection to emit any vocal power or colours. Having said that, if she had some singing lessons it could be determined whether or not she has enough control and power to put out. I would like to teach her myself...Id like to think I could make a good job of that....What kind of a buzz would that be eh to train up our own Aisleyne.... ...goes off now wishful thinking and stuff...
