Perish the thought rem. We were only thinking of Aisleyne's radio career, right?

When the timeslot was first announced, I thought it was a good one. It meant that Ash could still have commitments during the day, and still have time to attend events at night. I've been surprised that photoshoots often run over so late.
I sympathise completely with Ash's health problems. But I agree that the absences have to stop if she wants to be taken seriously.

As far as I know, there has still been no official confirmation of the reason given by Prince Diamond for Aisleyne missing her show (yet again!). There's obviously the posibility that it was a true emergency that could not be helped. However, there's also a possibility that it was just an appointment that could have been made at some other time. And then, there's the possibility . . . no, I won't go there. Whatever the reason, her time-slot is simply not suitable. So, if she's serious about carving out a career in radio, she needs to change it. Unofficially she had to have another operation on her hand, so presumably it could be classed as an emergency?

Yes DT, apparently Ash was at Butlins in Minehead trying to break a word record for hugging the most people (or kissing the most people according to one report) in an hour. If its hugs, thats bad news for her hand. If its kisses, that's tacky beyond belief. Still, as long as Aisleyne enjoyed herself that's the main thing.

I hope it's positive comments she gets. I'm a bit concerned about the possibility that the gutter press could turn on Aisleyne for doing this.

To me, the latest cancellation proves that Invincible are probably paying Ash a pittance (if anything at all) for doing the show. Accordingly, it must be written into the contract that she is able to give priority to paying gigs.
If this is true, it might be better if they were more open about it.

I apologise in advance for turning into boldjohn the prophet of doom. The number of cancelations certainly raises questions over the future of the show. If Aisleyne's doing her radio show for a pittance, it is unlikely that she going to want to do it for much longer. Either she'll move upwards to a bigger station, or abandon her pursuit of a DJing career in favour of her more lucrative modelling work. I'm not knocking Ash. I'll never do that. Who could blame Aisleyne, the inspirational role model, for being ambitious? If she ever does quit the Invincible radio show or quit radio work completely, I'd be really sad. Apart from the World Cup and previously Big Brother, I can't think of anything I've looked forward to as much as the Aisleyne Show. I don't care if it's only us lot and a few others that listen. The Aisleyne Show has enabled us to directly interact with Ash and hear what she has to say. Long may it continue and let's hope I'm talking out of my orifice as usual.
