Forum Merger

A request to merge the Fakers forum with Officially Aisleyne was made by Aisleyne personally. After amicable discussions with the administration staff at Officially Aisleyne it has been decided to accept this offer. All current members of the fakers are invited to join Officially Aisleyne.
The unique Fakers identity will be retained. Aisleyne is very proud of her Faker Number 1111, which is already now displayed as her OA forum signature. After the merger has been completed, we shall be encouraging all OA members, who have not already done so, to apply for a Fakers Identity Number - details of how to do so will be advised. The Fakers Charter will be posted on the Site, and we shall be announcing plans to promote the Fakers concept within OA.
Would all members ensure that the email details in their profile are correct so that the new temporary passwords for OA can be sent to you? You will still be able to post on existing threads but there will be no new threads on the fakers forum.
I would like to thank everybody for their support and would hope that support continues as we become part of the official web site.

Fakers has been a big part of my life since last summer. It was the first forum I joined to do with Ash, thanks to Dogtired over on the C4 Forum, and I shall miss it and the pals here I have made very much.

Thanks Dogtired for everything you have done for Aisleyne and us her fans, and thanks to Prem for all his hard work. I support you both whatever the weather and circumstances.

To the friends I made here? Take care of yourselves, and each other.

The very biggest of "big ups" to dogtired and team for getting FAKERS off the ground on the Ch4 forums. I wasn't around in those days, being a "DS:BB-ite" or "A-Teamer". Nevertheless I joined FAKERS forum very early on, soon after it was formed. The FAKER idea was an inspired one and it still rings true today. Its good to know even after the merger, the FAKERS identity will remain strong.

Excitement for the future, tinged with a bit of sadness for what will be lost. Those are my feelings.

The Fakers have played a very important part in the Aisleyne story, and I'm proud to have been involved with that.
I hope the distinctive Fakers identity will be preserved in the new merged forum.

Hi everyone you will be able to post on all current threads but not start new ones. You will notice that we have moved threads back to the main boards, this is so they are easily accesed by anyone wishing to read them.

I do not think the FAKER identity will ever die away we were all such a big part of BB7 and the forums, I hope that you will all support the FAKER identity and what we stood for, and in my mind still do, keeping it real.

We will continue to maintain the myspace and this forum.

I want to thank you all for making this forum one of the best and hopefully those of you who will be joing OA will take the FAKER spirit there and make it your own as you have done here.

A very big thank you to everyone who has been active in running this forum, it's bloody hard work at times

Hi everyone

I think it's appropriate for me to make a couple of comments.

I'd like to echo the appreciative posts addressed to Dogtired, premierscfc et al for all their hard work in promoting this Forum, and the Fakers spirit.

Aisleyne instigated this merger, and you can all rest assured that the Fakers identity will most definitely not be lost. We plan to use OA's resources to make more people aware of Fakers, and to promote and increase Fakers membership. Ash was kept fully informed on the merger discussions, and I know she plans to post a special welcome, when everyone's settled in.

Everyone at OA looks forward to welcoming all Fakers Forum members who don't currently have OA accounts.
