I feel annoyed too that Ais hasn't been getting the high profile she deserves. Even more so this week, when bl**dy Princess Nikki ( an ill conceived project if ever there was ) hits our screens. Bit miffed that a nonentity like Glynn is in Heat this week, following Pete and Nikki, but Ais hasn't merited a mention.
I suppose, like Ais's agent we have to ask what is Ais's specific appeal or "hook". Thats difficult precisely because she is such a versatile character. I don't think getting on her agent's case will achieve much. This is all Endemol's doing, for not giving Ais enough positive publicity like their chosen big 3. Whats happening ( or not happening ) now is a consequence of such neglect.
Lets hope long term Ais will do well. There was so much goodwill towards her from "quality" media people that I hope maybe she has some contacts helping her behind the scenes. Our internet support will help too - these things are monitored, surely? You often hear reported how certain people are the top most googled etc.
In terms of emailing all I can think of is contacting whoever the head of development is at certain channels like the BBC. I'm open to any suggestions...

A friend of mine emailed the agent yesterday, asking for any future P/As and giving details of her internet support and how much her fans have continued to support her.His detailed email got this one line response "Aisleyne appreciates all those who supported her." That was it. Your friend is doing well. I sent mine ages ago, and nothing back.

I don't think people should contact her agent and suggest to her how she should be doing her job! That's pretty rude really and might get her back up. I think we should send letters/cards of support to Ash via her agent. If she's in any doubt (and I don't think she is) about how popular Ash is, a load of fan mail should give her a wake up call. Don't forget that Ash signed an exclusive with Now. Imogen didn't get an exclusive deal so is possibly more free to do more interviews. Ash probably earnt more for her exclusive - hence her agent advised her to do it. I completely agree and the last thing we want to do is make Aisleyne's agent start regretting taking her on. If Aisleyne starts getting a reputation for having an obsessive fanbase who are constantly harassing the agency and the magazines this is actually likely to have a negative effect on the work that the agency does for her and make it more difficult for Aisleyne to find other agencies to take her on if she does want to move. I think Aisleyne has had a pretty good media exposure since she's left the house, to be honest and I'm not at all worried about her prospects at this stage. Regards Julian

I think I agree with Julian for the most part, although I am a little concerned that we haven't seen much of Ash.
I think it is important that one or two from the forums keep in touch with her agent, and establish a friendly relationship. But a mass mailing is likely to have a negative effect IMO.

All posts noted and appreciated.I didn't suggest bombarding her agent with emails.Pretty pointless emailing her at all but I don't agree that such action might harm Ash's prospects in any way.Agents and media people are there to make money for their clients and themselves.
My point was, is BB7's Top Female and the most popular hm on the net in terms of fan-base, is she doing as well as other top hms?
Pete and Nikki have done brilliantly.Grace better than some expected. Imogen and Glyn have a strong niche to work in.Leah, too, has a specific area for her agent to work in. Aisleyne doesn't have any of the above's obvious niches and consequently, maybe is not getting the exposure or work she merits.
Some still say that she is deliberately seeking a low profile and not wanting limelight. This has been a common theme in Digi Spy Forum. If so then she wouldn't have done NUTS or T4[where she was quite outspoken] and certainly wouldn't have done the shots for the NOTW with Imogen. In a year's time she may have her hands full with re-building her relationship with Curtis, family plans etc.
I repeat now is her time for career, media and it seems to me, something is holding her back and I'm not sure what. I hope I'm wrong but if I'm not, then we may wish we had been more pro-active in seeing how we might have helped her come the end of the year.

I think it's important to bear in mind that the reasons why someone is popular on Big Brother can have nothing whatsoever to do with their ability to be popular in the media or entertainment industry.
I didn't come to love Aisleyne because of her dancing ability, her figure or her humour, although all of that helped. I loved her because of who she was as a person. Her character and her value system. These things have nothing to do with being able to do presenting work or DJ'ing or music or anything else that would keep her alive in the public eye. Her main asset, in my opinion, is her figure and, as such, I think that featuring in the country's leading men's magazine is a major achievement and probably her best bet for making serious money.
We know she signed an exclusive with Now so we know that she's not going to appear in other magazines. Presumably the exclusive paid well enough for this not to be a problem.
If she lands a TV program or presenting job she will be in a distinct minority of ex-housemates including previous winners to do so but, in any case, unless it's a hastily put together show with no lasting appeal it's likely to be more than a couple of weeks before we hear about it. These things can take months to organize.
I really don't think it's relevant who came where in terms of Big Brother evictions or popularity on the web. Each housemate has different talents totally unrelated to their appeal as big brother housemates and those talents and their own aspirations will be the most important thing in deciding how well they do in the outside world.
As much as I wish the best for Aisleyne I don't see it as a competition to see which housemate can get the most media coverage. A good agent knows how to tailor their efforts to maximize the potential of the individual in their care. In some cases that means quality over quantity.
Regards
Julian

Excellent post Julian.
There seems to be a competition as to who is getting most column inches and I find that bizarre. Imogen has done one full interview - with OK magazine and a couple of other small Q&A type things. Ash signed an exclusive with a magazine - she's therefore harder to get hold of for other mags. Imogen, Glyn and Lea have not appeared more in the media than Ash, and so what if they had. I imagine Ash has earnt more, that's no doubt why her agent advised her to sign the exclusive.
Be careful what you wish for - Grace and Lea are only in magazines because they are currently willing to slag off other HMs and talk about Nikki and Pete. If you want Ash to get exposure, I'm afraid seeing her fall out of nightclubs might be the end product - and that would disappoint me.
She was in a LOT of magazines last week. Who knows what she's been doing since her holiday with Imogen, but whatever it is won't be seen until next week (if it was more magazine shoots) at the earliest. If you want to see her, it will be tacky photos of her drunk, is that really what people want??
As for her and Curtis, I don't actually think they are still together at present from what she's said in the press - so I can't imagine she's desperate to cash in now thinking she's only got a year or so left before rushing off to have babies! Lol. I'm worried that if Ash herself is as desperate as her fans to be in every mag/newspaper, we'll see the chinawhites/falling out of clubs pics soon - and I desperately don't want that for her.

What does "exclusive" mean?
Does it mean she cant do other interviews in different magizines?

What does "exclusive" mean? Does it mean she cant do other interviews in different magizines? I guess every magazine can set it's own terms but the 'exclusive with Now' was apparently the reason that Hello magazine said they couldn't feature her and Michelle's exclusive with OK when she came out of BB5 even went so far as to prevent her from appearing in the same shot as Stuart on BBLB! Of course we know that she appeared in Nuts and More magazine in the same week as Now so I'm a little unsure about the terms of this 'exclusive' myself but both of those interviews could have been done before she signed the contract with Now.
