In the light of brockolly's thread : aisleyne on the wright stuff and of robbie:"Iv'e sent an E Mail. It's worth a try." Could people please suggest what TV programmes that Ash might appear on.
We know her full range of talents...better than her agent does. We may not be in the media but we know Aisleyne. I emailed Ready Steady Cook some two weeks back[no reply] because Jon Tickle made a very successful appearance there and who did much of the BB cooking after Susie left? Ash did.Next time I contact RSC I'll go personally to Ainsley Harriott who , like Ash, supports Arsenal.
I intend, like Robbie,to email certain TV and radio shows. It would help alot if fms could suggest TV/Radio outlets. We know she has beautician skills, fashion originality, music skills, can discuss serious issues such as religion and the rights of women. She has done a holiday report for a company...it's somewhere on the web. Above all this, she is loved by the camera and whatever she appears on,the viewer is in for a treat.
Suggestions, please.

She should go on The Paul O' Grady Show That would be off the hook, thats if he is doing another show. Maybe she could go on that Loose Women is it? That would be off the hook as well. Or she should just get her own TV show xx

Hi ZZ I suggested Loose Women on Brockollys thread. It might not be a huge career step, but it would get her on TV and I think she'd really enjoy it and have a laugh. Kaye Adams and the rest are funny, laid back girlies - and I think Ais would have plenty to contribute. The show is less about presenting - and more about just being yourself and sharing your life experiences and giving advice. I think Aisleyne would be far more relaxed on it - and when shes relaxed she come across as more natural and her personality will be allowed to shine.

I wondered how Aisleyne would do on 'Stop the week' on Radio four. I think that is what it is called. She does not realise it but she has some brillient insights into situations. Can you imagine her doing an assesment of Tony Blairs personality!
The point is to get her doing lots of mini appeariences to gradually build her confidence and learn from experience. She learns and adapts very quickly.

I would love to see Ais do a spot on a travel show. She was so appreciative of her experiences in BB7 and her enthusiasm was sort of catching for the viewer. For instance I remember her describing what the HND was like, to the main house - it was great. She seems to have a sense of wonderment at new experiences which is lovely to watch. She also picks up on things - very perceptive of whats around her. She can articulate things really well. This would lend itself well to a travel show or similar light entertainment reportage show.
I'd love to see her get some work at the BBC. I left comments on their website a while back when they were looking for feedback on BB. I notice people who start on C4 tend to migrate to the BBC. Lets hope the BBC might just snap up Ais up as they have with others...
I agree with nobrains - Ais has some brilliant insights into situations. She has the intelligence to do something more highbrow, no doubt about it. Perhaps even journalism. My mother was a journalist and I spot similar qualities in Ais. ( I think Mick Mercer picked up on her analytical ability ). A suggestion would be the Sunday times? The Sunday Times magazine sometimes give opportunities to "ordinary people" with talent to write. I remember once they gave a reporting assignment to a cleaner, a really smart woman whose talent not been realised. She did an amazing job and showed what can be done when someone out of the ordinary is given a chance. I would love to see Ais expand herself like that.
Ais is perceptive, articulate, witty and has a quirky outlook on life. There is undeniable charisma there. She is a find. Of course now, some of the bad work Endemol did on Ais has to be undone ( ie not promoting her - or if they did, then misrepresenting her ). However that will fade, and if Ais can get a small foothold in the media her talents will come through in time. As nobrains says, the point is to give her lots of mini appearances to start building her confidence + experience. She does learn and adapt very quickly.
I hope Paul O'Grady comes back and that Aisleyne might appear on his show this Autumn. I heard that he will return, after a month's delay to recuperate. I get the feeling Paul would love Ais, as he seems to have similar views to myself - which is why I love him *ahem*! He's a very warm presenter + loves people who are kindhearted and down to earth like Ais is. Interestingly, Lea was initially his favourite hm, same for me and for Grace Dent. ( before she became paranoid and unwatchable that is ) It wouldnt be surprising if as the show progressed he had warmed to Ais . Not sure how much BB he watched. Get well soon Paul, we miss you... if he does come back, I'll be emailing him

aisleyne did have a lot of broadsheet support, i suppose she was 'the critics' choice, it would be nice to see her write a column, not neccesarily about bb, a travel show/ music show sounds a good idea too

I think, as a first step, a travel show would be the ideal way to go if Aisleyne wanted to pursue a TV career. If I was her, I'd steer clear of any live presenting until she becomes more accomplished and comfortable. The good thing about a travel show is that it has more mainstream appeal and are taped in advance. She has the necessary enthusiasm and the ability to connect with people that would be required for this type of vehicle.
Much as I like Ash, I don't think I could bear sitting through one of those music channels for long. So I hope she doesn't do that. Presenters are superfluous on those things anyway so hopefully I will be safe on that score.

I would actually like to see Ais hosting a show like, Ricki or Trisha...I think she would be very down to earth and see the various points of view. I also think we have to remember the glamourous side of Aisleyne and I think she would be great in that show that Model Rachel Hunter was in where you pick a model out a few weeks of assignments. I cant remember what it was called now..sorry. I just think Aisleyne needs to do things that suit her age and her overall look and I dont think anything too heavy would be appropriate at this stage. I would like her to do a story for children however on Ceebebies.

I dont actually watch much TV, but how about something like "bargin hunt" those car boot things that are on during the day.
Ais and Imo would make a good team, on that type of programe.
Do the morning shows still do "fashion/make up" slots
We know she buys some of her clothes where "normal" people do, that might be good.
This might sound naff, but what about Primark for a promo campaign, Primark should be grateful to Ais as her Primark clothes where talked about a lot.
BTW I know these are not TV LOL
Camden Council should be getting behind her in some way.
She did a promo for Virgin and was photographed with Richard Branson, may be Virgin could think about a Mobile Phone deal???
Vernan Kaye's radio show, Scott Mills, the one that does the Doctor show on at night where people ring in with their problems. BBC radio1. I thought she was very good in the radio task.
Also she was very good in the Shakesphere task explaing to Jennie what the words meant.
and all of the above.
