Actually I bought Heat magazine specifically because I wanted to hear what she had to say about being beaten up. I don't like Grace but the cover got me to buy and I found the article interesting. At the end of the day it is a human interest story highlighting the dangers of celebrity and the way in which shows like BB can get people so worked up that they lose all perspective. Heat is one of the most successful celebrity magazines around. It didn't get there by featuring articles that no one wants to read. Besides, sometimes people want to read about the bad guys as well as the good guys  Regards Julian |

I actually recoiled in horror at the twin faces of trolldom staring at me from the cover; Grace and Nikki. Nikki's chin in particular. Pointed goblin big time!
I don't particularly want to support bad guy behaviour by reading about it and by buying magazines that encourage it.

However I do feel that putting her mug on that mag or any other mag asking for people to sympathise infuriates people more, it will do more harm than good not in her pocket of course. And of course some crazy folks will take their feelings to the extreme as we have already seen with the report of the hate mail. I suspect that Heat are doing the coverage to try and fend off some of the bad feeling towards her, they are trying to manipulate the public. I read some of the interview in the newsagents, in one part she is saying "I can't believe people are saying that I deserved it" To be fair that isn't right, but what disturbs me about Grace is that while she is desperate for people to sympathise/empathise, she bullies and assaults/humiliates an older woman does not apologise and then brags that people shook her hand for it. She criticised Suzie for being a stripper which we knew she was. She looked down on people on the house for doing glamour work. What did she do when she came out, a shoot for a lads mag and that's just for starters. I can't get my head round why Grace blames Susie so much. It was Endemols twist Susie was the guinea pig. Can't she get it into her head that the public hated her before Susie came into the picture. The reason why her housemates didn't nominate/rumble her is because she was clever at covering her tracks , not because she was nice she was plan nasty end of. We need to take these stories in Heat etc.. with a pinch of salt. The attack generated more media interest and she has profited from it. Grace is probably fine she is a hard nut to crack, you can't hold her down. I don't condone the attack but she doesn't need my sympathy. I think she is doing very nicely thank you. Anyhow the attack was not because of BB (though it has been used by heat and other mags to her advantage) it started because she tried to intervene in an argument. It was very foolish of her to intervene if you ask me people get killed doing that. If she sees something like that again she should call the police....(free advice) I wonder how much she is being paid for her new reality show. I wonder if she had to audition or a place was just given to her as a apology from Endemol (For the golden ticket twist). Maybe the real reason why she is mad at Susie is because Ash chose her number. I guess we'll never know............ |

I think grace is suited to the circus, such a clown. I mean come on who else is going to take up ac rap show like that, other than despererate people, grace, Sophie Anderton, need I say more....
ash wouldnt go on such a tacky silly show, she is aiming higher. I feel embarressed for grace going on that thing...

I imagine they are As I already said I don't like Grace at all I'm just pointing out that it is possible to dislike Grace and still be interested in articles about her. Even if you just end up reading it in the Newsagent as Mich007 admits to, it has still had the desired effect of drawing your attention to the magazine. At the end of the day, Heat knows what people are interested in reading and what they're not and will publish articles to maximize their readership. It's no good blaming Heat if the public want to read about people we don't like. If you have to lay blame, blame the public Regards Julian |
