And so the rumour mill chugs on about who's lined up for next month's Celebrity Big Brother... Names in the frame include David Hasselhoff, Whitney Houston and Osama Bin Laden (although Osama has it written into his contract that he can pull out if Dean Gaffney shows up).

Obviously, we're talking utter rubbish here - but it's because we're completely and utterly overexcited. Why? Well, we've just found out that Pete, Nikki >:(and other Big Brother 7 stars are set to return to the house, too. But rather than get their old beds back, they'll be given access to the camera runs where they'll act as roving reporters, covering all the action inside the house.

'There'll be lots of surprises and twists this time,' commissioning editor Angela Jain reveals. 'Some of the ex-housemates will be our eyes and ears on the ground.' Hmmm... let's hope they remember to keep an eye on the celebrities in the house: somehow we think that Nikki could get a little distracted if she gets caught in a narrow camera run with Pete. The show starts on January 3. Oooh - we can't wait!

Wouldn't pete's Tourettes be a problem in the camera run tho ? I mean they're supposed to be extremely quiet in the camera run and he can't really control his voice...
