The front page of the Daily Star April 5th claims that B Bro was fixed. A top BB executive has admitted: "yes, we did fix the show" There is a pic of Aisleyne on page 5 and a write up about problems voting for Aisleyne in the final in a section called 10 dodgiest moments that conned BB viewers.

Honesty from Endemol. I notice that they only admit to manipulating the first series. The last one is too close to admit anything. I suppose they think if they come clean about one indiscretion and promise not to do it again, we're stupid enough to believe that they have never since tried to manipulate the outcome of the show. #rant#

I wonder what the purpose of that is and will Virgin Media like it?
Of course its fixed. Which is why I will never vote again.

Am not surprised, if it was fixed. The BB producers have their favourites and can manipulate the votes aswell as the tasks given to the hms

I'm not sure how that constitutes manipulation, the correct casting is the whole key to a successful show! Regards Julian

I agree about the casting Julian. What I didn't like last year was the producers' interference in the outcome. They should put the housemates in and leave the outcomes to the nominating housemates and the voting public. "YOU DECIDE" we are repeatedly told to encourage us to phone in. The evicted housemates were out of the competition only to find themselves back in it. That killed my interest in the show. If that was not manipulation, I don't know what is. #rant#

Hi Julian how are you.
We all know we ARE being manupulated, it is after all part of how and why the show works for both the viewers and the producers. However the blatant way in which they do it and with no regard for the viewers is what gets up my nose.
I like the twists, but, the producers have gone to far imo. I for one dont like to be treated like a clod hopper. I also like to feel that my votes have some effect on the outcome and that again imo did not happen last year due to the three final twists they decided were a good idea. Niki, second house next door and letting Pete tell the nation that his life would have no meaning if he did not win due to his dead friend coming to him in a dream/vison.
This was just three twists too far in a series of twists and manipulation.

If that was not manipulation, I don't know what is. #rant# I think it's the producers' job to manipulate the show up to a point. Their motivation is to try to keep the show interesting and entertaining so that viewers tune in. That was the only reason for the twists, IMO, and, as much as I was not a fan of Grace and Nikki going back in, they only did so because the viewers voted for it and, it has to be said, they did cause a lot of entertaining drama for what would otherwise have been a pretty boring final few weeks. I do think they made a mistake by overturning previous decisions made by the public but I also think that a) they did it with the public's best interests at heart and b) they won't do it again. So I'm inclined to forgive them and forget about it. What I would say, though, is that the "Big Bro was fixed" headline was very misleading because, at the end of the day, all that was admitted to was that the producers had made a casting decision for BB1 which didn't work out the way they had hoped. In other words, it was a complete non-issue Regards Julian
