I buy The Times nearly every day and didn't know that they were heavily supporting Ash towards the end. I was just looking at the weblogs on the Times Online site and most of it reads like it was written by FAKERS. Maybe I missed it, but I never really saw anything in the actual newspaper but, boy, those journalists were obviously as hooked into the whole thing as much as us. See: timesonline.typepad.com/big_brother/ Tim Teenan did a good article supporting her on the day of the final in the Times section 2 - "Oh Brother I hope Aisleyne wins" She got a lot of support from the 'broadsheet' media - not bad for a girl from the 'ghetto' who was described in The Sun (another Murdoch paper) as an 'airhead'.

Thanks for that info secrethousemate. I'll have to see whether I still have that edition lying around in the recycling bag.

She had support from all the newspapers except The Sun. Even The Guardian had articles supporting Aisleyne.

India Knight, a Times columnist, was also a very loyal Aisleyne supporter. Here's one of her columns, click this.
