Was it meant to be just our first names? No SH you are supposed to put in your FULL NAME. (I have left mine out of my actual post on this thread )I shall make a point of this in my opening post.. I suggest you have another go.. and also please look as I have another link there hugs and stuff ODM  Julie is right. Your name is beautiful. One of our female relatives was called Selina..different spelling..and slightly different pronunciation..but you dont hear this name much..and its lovely. Oh bum! I'll have to try again and I'll check out the other link too. I've only ever met 1 other person with my name in my whole life, it was spelt the same as your female relatives name. |

But at least at school it would have made you more special as no one could copy your name and you could shorten it either i guess unless you had a weird nick name like Sil or something I've been called Lena as a shortened name a few times, my younger sister used to always call me that when she was really little as she couldn't say my name properly. |

I remember once remember an old friend used to call me julie baby - i was a baby at the time and i think he was a toddler, but when he once came round with his mum, he would always say "can i see julie baby" (jelly baby lol) is what i had in my thoughts when i was told this years later

I never met this relative SH as it was someone remote on my Grandmothers side. She was born in the 1800s sometime. It is a very old name and actually it was quite a POSH name too. Certainly anyone with the name Selena regardless of spelling was thought to be from ..ahem..a very nice family.....  |
