Yes, people should have the right to defend themselves in their own homes but only with reasonable force.
Is there life on other planets?

Well people have already found living bacteria on mars so yes , but i do belive that there are aliens and other living beings on other planets the universe is huge Q. is there such a thing as ghosts ? I'm not sure whether there are ghosts in the sense of 'the dead' coming back, but I think there might be some sense of psychic soul left over at a place, if that makes any sort of sense? I've met a few people who've said they've seen ghosts (my wife included) and I've had a couple of weird experiences where things have seemed out of place. The weirdest thing, come to think of it, was myself and wife-to-be (then) being on Brighton beach late at night and seeing the whole of the (now gone) West Pier in all of it's original grandeur, even though we'd both never seen pics of that! It was like that for a good 20 minutes as we walked past it...very freaky I even looked up some old pics afterwards and it was exactly like we'd seen. My question is: What are UFO's (if they exist)?

;D Yes thats very true julie we are going to be aliens to god knows how many other planets ect Right in respnse to andy What are UFO's (if they exist)? Well a ufo is simply a unidentified object which of course excist as being unidentified object dosent always mean its little green men so in simple terms a ufo is just a object usually seen in the sky (not always) which isnt identified Question ~ Does god excist and if so why does he allow such poverty in the third world ?

Richard Dawkins says "No"Others say "YES"At the end of the day it is a question of belief on both sides. Dawkins believes in science. Others believe in God. Dawkins can't prove by scientific means that God doesn't exist any more than religious people can prove that God does exist. Question: What's the only bird that can see the colour blue?

Hmmm. It didn't go unnoticed that you deftly side-stepped answering whether or not you believe yourself remaha!! What would the vicar say? (That wasn't the next question BTW ) The answer to your question is Owls! Just why is it apparently a physical impossibility to eat a fruit pastille without chewing it?

(That wasn't the next question BTW ) The answer to your question is Owls! Just why is it apparently a physical impossibility to eat a fruit pastille without chewing it? Pah, the question didn't ask what I believe. It asked whether God exists. I answered that question by saying it's impossible to know, thus skillfully evading the tricky second part - that I will admit to. However, if you want to know which side I'm likely to be on, I refer you to the Favourite Books thread on the Hobbies and Interests Board. As to fruit pastilles, the answer is that if you suck 'em they get stuck to the top of your mouth and you have to start digging them out with a chewing-like action which stimulates the creation of saliva, which makes you want to chew even more, plus the fact that we are fed the propoganda by Rowntrees so think that it's true, when in actual fact, it's probably not. So yet again, its a question of whether you believe in science or Rowntrees
