Aaaawwwww cr*p, I posted that in the wrong one. Meant to do it in the "Men Only" thread. I think they may be on to us. It's hard to tell which is which there's so many women in em both.

But why do they break, its soooooooo annoying

One tip is keep to a slightly squared off shape rather than the traditional curving pointed tip. You dont have to have them totally straight at the tip but let the sides grow out in a straight line. Then file the corners into a gentle curve. The squared shape is naturally stronger and less likely to snap.

Second really good tip is to use OPI Nail Envy. It's the only thing that has ever worked for me(and I tried everthing!). My only problem with it is that my nails grow TOO quickly.
You can buy on-line (It's a QVC stock item) but I have seen it available in larger BOOTS stores. Theres even a matte version. They both dry really quickly.
Its not particularly cheap at around £14 a bottle but it goes a long way and QVC often do a ' two 4 one' on it.
I give it 9.5 out of 10. It only loses the half point because of all the extra work with the nail file I have to do just to keep the length from getting out of hand!

ProStrong is another really good brand but TBH Nail Envy is the simplest and just as effective.

Thanks for that ;D my nails are g8 at the mo though. People keep asking me if they are fake the cheek, nothing about me is fake ;D
