The one and only time I was really girly was when a friend of mine and I found ourselves in a Debenhams sale. I spotted a huge bag of make up, which was 75% off and went OOOOOHHHHHHH.
I nearly fainted in surprise at myself. I didn't know I had it in me.

Ash has loadsa nice clothes! plus she has gorgeous figure! what perfumes odes everyone like? my fav is probably dolce and gabbana light blue! i luv it!!! Without wishing to sound like an Ash- stalker  I wonder what perfume she wears? I've cupboards full of different perfumes, but I nearly always go back to my favourite - Estee Lauder Knowing. It's just got that certain oomph for me. I also love Givenchy Coutre. |

i brought this wacky denim skirt from the chairity shop the other day it's pretty lush I do a bit of voluntary work in a charity shop ( scuzzy shop as my teens call it) The trouble is, everytime i work there, i end up spending a fortune and coming home with loads more stuff  I did some for Barnardos (about 5 years ago) stayed about 8 months as I'd just left my full time career so had some time to spend - it was great fun. It was actually my introduction to charity shops - I'd NO IDEA what treasures could be found in them til then. Now, apart from TK Maxx which is my favourite all time shop, I probably do most of my bargain hunting in 'exclusive' shops as my mum calls euphemistically calls charity shops - and not just for clothes, but nik naks as well. |

I never wear make up, believe it or not, i always feel silly when i have tried it, it just doesnt look right on me.I have a big wedding to go to soon and was thinking of going to debenhams and asking for a quick makeover, has anyone else tried this? Me.I had one about a year ago (Estee Lauder counter) - but it was really heavy weight. The girl didn't seem that interested either in what I wanted, she just wanted to promote their latest products. Unfo, one of them was like a spray on foundation....I felt and looked like I'd been emulsioned! but I'm sure if you try one of the more natural look counters (have a look at the sales girls first....wish I had!) - you'll be more likely to get what you want. |

She should bring out her own perfume - Fragrance of Ashaleeeen....(I'm kidding about the name) but I'll never look like her, but it would be quite nice to smell like her ....there could be a boy's version as well - I am kidding. Well, sort off I might post this to one of the forums...then stand well back...  |

Handbags and watches are my weakness - love big trendy watches and love handbags with lots of pockets and dangly bits. I like J.Lo Glow perfume and Paris.
Hey - it would be good if Ais brought out a perfume - like J.Lo Glow and Cliff Richards' Miss you Nights '- it could be called 'know yourself'

I've always found Benefit girls really good. Just tell them you want a natural look. They have always seemed happy to play around, so try a different colour on your eyes for example, and if you dont like it, tell them and they'll change it! |

If anyone wishes to ask me any questions about types of makeup, active ingredients, anti-aging lotions and potions please feel free. I am a cosmetic chemist and formulate make-up for a living. I have lots of insider tips and knowledge about make up. I will also debunk many Myths re makeup and skin care. I cannot give specifics about branded make-up but I can give general advice as to which ingredients to lookfor to help with staying power, moisturising or exfoliating benefits, or which will mask wrinkles and help with that 'flawless' appearance. I don't know much about hair care stuff, but I have a world of knowledge at my fingertips and I'm sure I could find out any technical info that is needed. I am not a make up artist, I just know how the industry works and how you can be ripped off if you don't know any different. Oh, and I also used to make perfume in a past life and could easily creat a fragrance for Aisleyne is she so wished  Jane |
