Ok, who's going to admit to this one? I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 1981 and I spent about ten years playing RuneQuest too. You can't beat a good roleplaying game Regards Julian

I tried it once many years ago before the advent of computers. Then in 198something the Sinclair was produced and I got a game with it, The Hobbit . Of course, in those days you had to type in the code to play games, not like today. God I have fond memories of that game LOL

Don't play RPG's myself but have lost a son to World of Warcraft, he only comes out of his room for food, occasional showers, a quick walk with the dog each day, barely talks to us anymore. Am wondering whether to join in myself just so I have more contact with him but its all so confusing what with raids and all manner of weird creatures, not even sure that I would recognise him.

Only one I've played recently is Oblivion, I used to play ROSE online but gave up with it.

I have to not play RPGs else I would not get to college and I would waste my life away! They are very addictive. You have to complete them once then do them again properly finding all the bits you missed first time round. Then, of course, you have to do them again.........

I love the computer RPG's but I'm primarily talking about the tabletop game that they were based on. Where you sit round a table with your friends, surrounded by rulebooks, sheets of paper with your character's statistics on, real dice and plastic miniatures and you spend your time putting on funny voices and pretending to be Conan the Barbarian or Gandalf the Grey It might be just as sad as playing computer games but at least you get a bit of social interaction at the same time ;D Regards Julian

The Sims came as part of the package when I bought my PC media centre. Loaded the game up and I lost three solid days to it without even noticing the minutes pass. Horrifying! Bit like this forum really ;D ;D Anyway, I wrestled the evil beastie back into its box and hid the cd somewhere I would forget about it and never find it again... Now you bliidy went and reminded me

My favourite computer RPG's are the ones based on Dungeons & Dragons (e.g. Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment etc.). There are also a few on Xbox. I started Oblivion on Xbox 360 but it turned out to be a bit heavy going. I've not played the computer version of Temple of Elemental Evil but we're in the middle of playing the tabletop version of 'Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil'. I have a two characters: a rakish human Sorcerer who was a travelling thespian until he turned to adventuring and a female half-elf psychic warrior. She has a habit of impulsively charging into combat before the rest of the group are ready. Annoys the hell out of the party cleric Regards Julian

The game of the moment for me is World of Warcraft, the whole family are playing atm. I love playing my druid, and i just been getting into player vs player. Waiting on the expansion. Im the leader of a guild on wow, with its own forum (hehe get ready for shamless plug) acmeinc.forumwise.com/index.php
