Big Brother voting scam blamed on spreadsheet error

Red-faced officials at a forum dedicated to Big Brother babe, Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, have admitted that they have misled their members about the results of an online poll. The voting scam was revealed by a secrethousemate who was never seen during BB7 but was apparently inserted by Ofcom to ensure fair-play.

Forum bosses explained that the voting errors were caused by a mistake in an Excel spreadsheet that led to double counting of some votes. They also said they were considering taking disciplinary action against a junior employee after the votes have been recounted.

Ofcom and Icstis have received a number of complaints in connection with the voting scandal. However, forum supremo Dogtired, said "We are planning to fob them off by allocating some of the spare votes to charity. We also understand that unless Aisleyne complains herself, we are in the clear."

An un-named source said that a corrected table of results will be published shortly.

Also quite a few people haven't voted for a second or third favourite. These votes could easily swing the result.

Your first favourite gets 3 points
Your second favourite gets 2 points
Your third favourite gets 1 point

Incidentally, the results scandal was caused by people's third favourites being mistakenly allocated two points by me
