ok update as been missing for a few days - i formatted c drive on the sunday but never did anything as could remember what to do to get it back up and running lol so got an pc engineer out last night and who is going to have to come back tonight as i have found problems trying to get my dvd rewriter back installed as i have no serial number with it?? im unable to get my office windows software also installed as i keeps coming up with an error (308) i think and its missing some stuff which is confusing and im not wanting to touch it, also my printer is not able to install as its telling me that the software has a virus??? Help.....other than that everything is working fine

Julie, for your printer try going to the makers websight to down load the drivers from there,thats what i done  |

ok will try that hun and no still with Windows ME i just chuffed everything out and decided to start again lol - see if you put your cookies over to the D drive it certainly doesnt remember the sites you go into again - thank god i had my favourites in the D drive or i wouldnt be a happy bunny lol also im scared to look in the drivers and utilities disc lol ill leave that to the engineer as i have no clue to what im looking for  |

and i also went into msconfig and must have unpressed 2 buttons and everything went haywire couldnt remember what i did so deleted my dial up adapter for some god knows reason, errmmm something else that had the yellow questionmark assuming i could refresh everything as you normally do, nothing happened and i deleted it, found what i did and got my front page settings again and colour went back to normal but everything was lost, and the guy i see came up to look at pc couldnt do anything either other than deleting stuff  so he left i got impatient and just formatted the thing not before i saved stuff |
