Just tried googling this site but can't find it You have to do all the "e"s yup I did that but I think I know where I went wrong.[boring explanation ahead] Right I have a dell computer and I typed Ashaleeen into the task bar. 4 search engines come up - ask.co., Yahoo, Google and another one which I forget. I chose google obviously and there was no sign of this site on the first 4 pages - gave up after that. Then realised I should try www.google.com and hey presto Ash is top. So now I am totally confused - is there two different googles and I have been using the wrong one all the time or is someone playing with my mind

HS it depends on what search method you are using.
For puropses of checking use the actual search engine home page.

If you google "Aisleyne" we are on page 19 Which is unfortunate as Aisleyne is a far more likely search term than Ashaleeen. Is there any way of getting the site more prominent for an Aisleyne search? A lot of the sites that come high on Aisleyne searches haven't been updated for ages. I've posted the links of three Aisleyne sites (including ashaleeen.co.uk) on the forums of one of the more prominent sites. Hopefully that might increase site traffic. The Ashaleeen site is currently quite difficult to find. I only got here from Digital Spy which I found out about from Low Culture which I found from a link in a BBC news article.

It can take up to two months to get listed on any search engine.
All the metta tags are in each web page and I have submitted the site twice to ten search engines.
To keep the web site up in google people need to visit it and add links to other sites if they can. Even in the Internet word of mouth is often quicker.
