Extract from Pete's book:
My ****ing Crazy Life.' ... Tortured by his Tourette's, bullied beyond endurance, abandoned and surrounded by poverty, Pete was about to send himself on the ultimate eviction. "I saw an opportunity to solve all our problems if I acted quickly and decisively," he recalls. "I pulled myself up on the edge of the balcony and paused, taking a few seconds to prepare myself for a final flight." The heart-stopping moment is just one of a catalogue of brutally honest confessions from Pete, 24, as he tells his life story. Secrets including: DRUG abuse, tripping out on LSD and horse dope ketamine, TERRIFYING hallucinations of rotting in hell, HAUNTING memories of the horrific electrocution of his closest pal, and the TRUTH about his short-lived romance with dizzy BB housemate Nikki ... Wow . . . , it looks like his book's going to contain some really dark moments. I assume it's being touted as "Road to Redemption" story, but I'm still not sure whether I'd want it to be in my teenage children's Christmas stockings.
It was noticeable this year that a significant proportion of the BB7 housemates sufferred from bullying in their childhood and that fair smattering of the rest would be the sort that would have bullied them. I suppose that's inevitable when the producers choose extreme characters.

I suppose that's inevitable when the producers choose extreme characters. The same thing has happened with the X-Factor 3 contestants.

I suppose that's inevitable when the producers choose extreme characters. It's also noticeable that a large number of the housemates had come close to committing suicide. It makes you wonder what kind of background or mental health checks the producers carry out on participants.

I suppose its gonna be more of the same poor pete ect i do feel for him he has obviosly had a tough time but we get this from these people all the time yet its only the ones who do well later on that get the opputunity to write these books the people who probably have had a really tough time dont And alot of these instances in his life he has brought uphon himself the drugs for instance im not a prude and ive done my fair share of stuff but you have to expect these types of hallutionations and negative effects and it wouldnt bother me if it wasnt for the fact that it still comes across as this poor me attitude no doubt people will be buying his book and crying in sympathy What im really trying to say is it annoys the life out of me when we have so many *well off * celebs making a fortune by selling these sob stories and just making a meal out of it and pete has played this sympathy vote time and time again

He's becoming a bit of a bore .
He took drugs and his mate got killed and then returned to tell him to go on BB , I still can't believe no-one is challenging him on this stupendously superficial approach to spirituality.

I agree with you kowalski if you belive what pete says it may actually seem that god had no thought for the other housemates and was backing pete to win obviously he was sat on a cloud watching bigbrother with his finger on redial so perfect pete could win as its so very important that dearest pete won and didnt lose his faith
