Methinks you must have typed 3.3. DT!  Listen matey you are only a few months younger than me That's assuming I gave the right date. I have been hearing reports that on my birthday I might be whisked away on a romantic trip to . . . wait for it . . . . . . . . . . . Alton Towers! No, I couldn't credit it either. I think the kids may have had a hand in this decision and I fully expect my birtday of a lifetime to cost me small fortune! |

I just received a rather large and totally unexpected cheque as payment for people photocopying pages from my books and publications since the year dot. I didn't know anything about this. You have to join an outfit called the ALCS (or ACLS, I can't remember which), who collect all the money for you. Anyway, I am planning to treat myself to some gadget and a new digital SLR camera sounds like a jolly good idea to me. So maybe I will have a happy birthday after all.  |
