Hiya everyone!!
I just wanted to ask you all about wikipedia...is anyone allowed to make a page on there?
Coz i noticed Ash doesnt have her own page, and i would love to make her one...but i was just checking...am i allowed to do that?! I've done it before! lol xxxxx

I've been doing some reading on BB/Wiki. It appears most HMs (including Ais) have been given their own page/stub at one point but admins have removed them, due to them not being "notable enough" outside of BB. Just to add, it seems BB on Wiki is a "project" which is run by some individuals, and this BB project includes certain "rules". Here's another link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Big_BrotherIt appears that these individuals are in charge of deciding when a HM is "worthy" of their own page, and in almost every case have deleted individual pages and redirected them to the BB HMs page. IE, if there's info about Aisleyne that would be too large for the HMs section (as there is with Nikki due to her TV series etc) then she gets her own page. It does sound very unfair, but I wouldn't want Becki to go to lots of hard work only to see one of these "project folk" then just delete it. [Link fixed - Clash] |
