Some of you may know who Lisa Connell is but some of you probably don't. She is a long time friend of Aisleyne who was diagnosed as having an untreatable brain tumour last year. Aisleyne is supporting her friend Lisa in raising funds and helping to raise awareness of this condition. There is a fun run from Hyde Park Corner to Whitehall on the 1st of July starting at 09.35. www.myspace.com/braintumourukwww.braintumouruk.org.uk/If you wish to make a donation follow this link. Lisa seems to have such a positive outlook when it comes to dealing with the fact that she has an incurable tumour. I admire her spirit. Maybe we should do what we can to help.

Me neither. Derby to London is to far to run. Oh dear. Sorry. Not a good thread for bad jokes. It would be great to go down and see them run, but I suppose as usual I won't be able to go.

I really really want to go I am gonna try my best to get down there, it takes 5-6 hours but i dont care! I think Lisa is such a lovely person, shes doing a really good job of creating awareness for Brain Tumour Uk. It would be brilliant to be there to support both Lisa and Ash xxxx

Are there no local runs you can run in and get sponsored for the charity, Becki?
I think the train fare alone from your neck of the woods to London would be better saved for the charity than giving to British Rail, and Lisa would appreciate the support just as much wherever you ran.

thanks Prem for the links, I made a small donation it would be great if we could keep it on topic so to speak. EG if anyone is ringing in to the radio show ask how its going, that sort of thing.
If you can advertise or mention it elsewhere please do.
