Just spotted this in the news..it always makes me sad no matter who gets these worrying scares


Jade fears she may have bowel cancer

Jade Goody is facing a three-week wait to find out if she is suffering from bowel cancer.

The terrified Big Brother 3 star has been tested for the killer disease after being rushed to hospital with crippling stomach pains last weekend.

Following five days of tests, Jade has since decided to return home because she wants to enjoy Bonfire Night with her two sons.

She told the Daily Star: "The doctors haven't ruled anything out yet. I know bowel cancer is a killer and I'm worried. But I'm hoping it's not that.

"I often get mild stomach pains and every few months I get bad ones but this time they were the worst ever. The pain was atrocious and what really worried me was that blood came out when I went to the loo. In the past I've just had X-rays and the doctors have said they can't find anything. The pain went away after a while and I just carried on.

"For a long time it was just put down to bad constipation. This time the hospital decided they would do lots of tests to really try to find out the cause. I had cameras looking inside me and they did find a blockage that was causing the pain. But I don't yet know why that happened. I won't find out anything more until I go back in three weeks."

Awww I hope and pray she hasnt. She is hilarious and my thoughts go out to her. Good luck Jade in getting the results and lets hope its good news.

Yes, I was going to agree with you Julie that I like Jade too and recently her luck has not been good with the closure of UGLYS her salon that was featured on TV and the upsets with her man. Jade is not everyones cup of tea for sure, but she is very open and you have to like her. I hope she will get through this and even better that it is all a false alarm.

Jade given all-clear from bowel cancer

Jade Goody has been given the all-clear from bowel cancer following a scare after she collapsed.

The Big Brother alumnus was hospitalised last week after she fell to the floor with crippling stomach pains.

Following a series of tests and some nervous waiting, doctors at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex have now told her she is clear.

"Jade is delighted — she was really worried," a friend told The Sun. "The worst thing she did was go on the internet and read up on bowel cancer, which scared the hell out of her.

"She was really panicking," continued the source. "Doctors don't really know what caused the pains but they have ruled out cancer, which is fantastic news.

"It could be something like a stomach ulcer caused by stress."
