Hi Julian
I meant no criticism of Michelle. I really like her. I just happen to have met one of the porn stars from Television X and she is really damaged, it was very painful to witness. I therefore gained a view of that station and a memory of someone in alot of pain that will haunt me forever.
Ais gets emotional like me I think and if she met someone like I met, I hate to think how much it would upset her. Perhaps I am projecting. I just wanted to rescue the girl I met, just hug her etc. The stories she told me were so awful.
I think Michelle is more focused and contained than Ais and can cope with these sort of things better, i.e. detach from the situation which is a very healthy attitude.
Regards

I therefore gained a view of that station and a memory of someone in alot of pain that will haunt me forever. The point I was trying to make, Frisky, was that the thing that Michelle does for Television X doesn't actually involve coming into contact with any of the porn itself. It's just a few glamour model photoshoots and a couple of video links of her saying "phone this number to view the channel". If she meets any of the actual porn stars it would probably only be at parties and there are plenty of damaged people at celebrity parties without them having to be porn stars. To be honest, I think Aisleyne has had far more experience dealing with damaged people than Michelle has. She spent several years in a hostel for homeless and abused teenagers. When it comes to her own self-esteem Aisleyne is obviously a bit fragile but when it comes to looking after other people and empathising with their problems Aisleyne is the one you want in your corner. Did you ever see the Mirror article about her friend? Aisleyne was my SaviourTo be honest I think Aisleyne would make a brilliant social worker/councillor. Besides, Lea has done porn and Aisleyne doesn't have any problems with her. I saw them on T4 today and they seemed pretty close. Regards Julian

I'm with Julian on this thread.btw I take my comments about the other hms seeming wooden in comparison to Ash on T4.Imogen certainly wasn't.
Our society wreaks of hypocracy. If Ash chooses to follow Michelle's route with TVX, and I doubt it, I'd have no problem with that.It really is very tame and Ash has known,in a different context, far worse than this mild tittilation. My wife and I took out a subscription once and derived alot of pleasure from it in the nicest possible way.It gives alot of lonely people alot of pleasure and their own little stake in life's existence.
Ash would indeed be a fantastic social worker, co-counsellor, something she's no doubt been doing all her life.Ebtissam Lacchab knows that well. Her counselling of Nikki in the last week ["it's what men do"] was testimony to this.Sanctimonious Richard would have done well to listen to Ash than spout his nonsense to her...or behind her back about her.
Whatever path that Ash follows or leads will be good and I think they'll be diverse paths. She has so many talents that enterprising TV and Radio companies should be queuing up for her services. I hope T4 yesterday alerted them to her potential. As Vernon said "give her a job!" I would.

Hi Julian and Zenzero
Thanks for your replies. Yes, I think Ais would be a good social worker or councillor. My only worry was that she would get too emotionally involved with her charges, i.e. care too much. Detachment is very necessary in those sort of jobs or you take everything home with you.
I see your point of view completely but still have my own reservations.

Michelle posted on her forum today that she would be meeting Aisleyne sometime this week. Michelle said she seemed very sweet and she hoped she could give her some advice that will help her.

I like Michelle but I wouldn't like to see Ais go down the Television X road. I've met one of those girls who 'work' for them and she was so emotionally damaged. I am not saying it is true for all of them or the presenters like Michelle. But is Ais strong enough to be exposed to that sort of world? I don't think so personally. I get the impression that Aisleyne has been doing glamour shots for years. Just check out some of the pictures on unofficialaisleyne: www.unofficialaisleyne.co.uk/gallery/The TV/X work that Michelle has done doesn't amount to any more than posing for exactly the same kind of pictures and saying a few words into camera about how people should sign up for the service. Plus attend a few celebrity parties. There's really nothing that needs any kind of emotional strength Of course Michelle only just re-signed to be the face of TV/X so there's no need to worry about Aisleyne doing the same for another year! Regards Julian I would hate to see Ais linked in any way to a pornography channel such as TVX. Fair play to Michelle, she's got to what she's got to do, but Ais can do so much better.
