Do you know why she's having the panic attacks? I think it's because of the way things have changed for the better for her since she's been out of the house. Michael said that she didn't know how long it was all going to last. I think another part of it was that she felt other housemates were getting more exposure than her. That seems to have changed now so I hope she's no longer having the attacks. But at that time Nikki, for example, had her own tv show and Aisleyne was... well, nowhere to be seen. As I said to Michael though, I think Aisleyne will come out better in the long run because Nikki's show was basically all about how unemployable she is so what is she going to do when the media interest in her starts to wane?

What an unexpected delight this thread has turned out to be. When I entered it I thought I might learn something about London geography, but little else. I'm surprised you haven't related this before, clash. You must have been hiding your light under a bushel. That was a great letter, and it must have cheered Ash up when she was struggling. So we've learned that Ash was just as upset as we were at her lack of activity in the early days. I don't like to think of her still having panic attacks. I'm glad Michael was there for her. Your story has brought Ash closer to us again, like she was during BB. For a while all we've had has been the photos.

I'm surprised you haven't related this before, clash. You must have been hiding your light under a bushel. I had thought of posting it in the Has anyone on here met Ash or plan to do so? thread but wanted to get a better feel for this forum and the people on it before I did. I also thought that I might be inundated with questions along the lines of "How did you get her address?" and "Where does she live?", but so far only one person has asked - you know who you are . The answer to both questions is: I'm not prepared to say out of respect for her privacy. (And yes, I know how hypocritical that must sound when I just turned up at her "yard" unannounced.)

clash: what were the circumstances of your meeting Aisleyne, by chance or an arrangement? I was hand-delivering a letter I'd written her. In hindsight, just turning up on Aisleyne's doorstep the way I did was a really stupid thing to do but at the time I did not know how else to contact her. I had no idea who her agent was and I was very doubtful about whether Endemol could be trusted to pass on letters of support. I didn't want to post the letter as I wasn't at all certain whether I had the correct address. how did you know where her flat was clash, dont worry I dont want to go there, just curious how people find this information? well done, its so nice that she got to meet one of her true fans face to face!! have you met her again?

If I said how it would be tantamount to putting her address here for everyone to see so I'm going to have to remain a bit mysterious. All I will say is that I found it through a mixture of determination and pure luck, and if Mike Tyson paid for a private detective to track her down, he could have saved his money. well done, its so nice that she got to meet one of her true fans face to face!! have you met her again? No. I've thought of writing again though but haven't yet. Aisleyne said she would write back to me and I'm waiting to see if she puts her home address on the letter. If she does, I will take it that she would not mind me contacting her again otherwise I would just feel that I'm invading her privacy.

Clash that was a truly eloquent and lovely letter, well done. I'd been hoping Ais would find out how much she inspired people, how lovely we all thought she was. To help undo all the hateful unfair treatment she suffered in BB, the chanting etc.
Well done for having the courage to get right through to her with your message. Its great to know that Ais realises she is valued. it must've done her confidence the world of good.
Thanks, Clash!

Clash, you are absolutely right not to disclose Ash's home address on the site. And I don't think you're being hypocritical by not doing so. One of the important bits of news you gave us is that we now know that Aisleyne has been receiving the letters sent to her agent.
Hopefully that means that she got the messages of support that we sent her.
And there's no reason why we shouldn't write telling her that we're still looking out for her.

At the time I had no idea of the level of support she had on the internet or that so many other people shared my opinion of her. I'd tried without success to find her address and had almost giving up but then the Now article came out where she spoke about losing the babies and how at times she'd even contemplated ending her life. I knew I had to try again and by pure luck/accident managed to find it.

One of the important bits of news you gave us is that we now know that Aisleyne has been receiving the letters sent to her agent. She never mentioned her agent. What she said was that she'd received other letters that had been sent to "the house" by which I assume she meant either Channel 4 or Endemol.

I wonder whether anyone's had a reply to a letter they sent via Ash's agent?
