Inspired by Becki and Sophie's recent Carlisle trip, I decided to bite the bullet and go and see Ash at a PA yesterday at the opening of Bronza Bay Salon, Barking Road, East Ham.
She looked stunning and recognised me straight away (how ace is that?) and I got a lovely big hug! ;D
I thought she was only going to cut a ribbon and then go and i'd just say hi and take a couple of pics, but she ended up staying for 4 hours with only the staff, her friend, and myself for company.
It was the most amazing day. She really is so warm and lovely, it really felt like we were already good friends. At no point did I feel uncomfortable, it was all so relaxed and she seemed genuinely grateful I was there and each time I thought it best to give her some space she kept calling me back to talk about something else!
;D
She had her nails done by her friend Jo (who works at the salon and organised it) and also had her legs waxed (an event obviously I did not attend).
We chatted about everything! BB8, hair, singing, moving house, Danielle Lloyd, her OK shoot (she hates the pics and said she couldn't eat the food because it was the day of her op), her many fans (I phoned Becki for a chat whilst we were there, and Ash was wearing the bracelet Sophie gave her (tried to phone Soph too but couldn't get thru so took a message )), and we looked at pics of her on my phone she hadn't seen before. She phoned Spiral and Glyn while I was there. At one point she asked if I wanted to share her melons!
I can't put into words how amazing it was, it was the perfect day. Big thanks to Aisleyne for being the lovely lady we always knew she was and for letting me stay for the afternoon, Cheryl and Jo for being ace too, all the staff who were really nice, and Becki for ordering me to go that morning when I was still umming and ahhing about it lol.
