Well they sorted out the buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz effect and sound levels quicker this week. TBH I didnt really enjoy the show that much, the chat room was fun though. Was Ash pissed? ?

I missed the show again. I don't have a very good record do I? I've only caught one out of the four shows up to now!

I thought that,(she was tipsy) what's going on, I thought it was a let down to be honest. Perhaps she's upset about the boy who passed away. Maybe she should have cancelled but then she would have got so much criticism. I feel quite sorry for her she was on a downer IMO. She didn't seem herself, I thought this was a stepping stone to greater things, but with todays efforts it doesn't look good. Is she depressed generally about the state of things in her life, I guess not having her mother and a regular boyfriend puts a dampener on things for her, I hope she pulls through. DJ'ing is probably the best she is or could be offered as a mainstream career, I hope she gets it together it's her only chance. I was suprised with some of the lanuage on some of the tracks and some of the words Ash used, obviously it's allowed, but again she couldn't do this on mainstream radio. I usually leave comments on OA but I will not today. I am disappointed, I hope she is better next week. That said I only caught the last hour or so.

I just had a look at the commentary over at OA and it certainly seemed more subdued than it was for her other shows. It didn't sound like there was much chat on today's show.
It is interesting though Mich007 that OA put up a kind of warning that Ash was a bit depressed for the reason you stated, but that she had decided to soldier on.
Perhaps today is another lesson learnt for Ash. Fortunately, on Invincible, she has the opportunity to learn her craft away from the intense media glare that would follow her if she was presenting a show on FM radio.

I have just finished listening to the show (thanks prem ) and I have to say that I enjoyed it. OK, so Ash was three sheets to the wind by the end (V2O rather than H2O methinks!). However, they played some good music and although the sound wasn't perfect, it was better than last week.

Funnily enough, I thought the first hour or so was the best she has done to date. I willnae comment on the second half, other than to say I blame that Diamond geezer.

I have listened to the show again today and to use a football cliche it was a game of 2 halves. The first half was probably the best Aisleyne has done so far. Unfortunately the second half was probably the worst. I don't know what was going on in the studio but drink and Aisleyne don't mix well when she is working. She seemed so professional to start with and seemed to have done some prep with a playlist and had organised a call to Glyn. The less said about the second half the better.

I'm listening now (having been on hols this week) and am really enjoying it so far. I can understand why people might feel it's a different (and less "Ais fan based") show, and therefore disappointing, but it feels more like a "regular" radio show, and therefore less "cliquey".
She does seem to be more steadily tipsy, though, and a few swear words are creeping in.

I have to agree the first half was dead on. But by the second half I was wondering why I was listening tbh.
Maybe she is depressed and has been given pills for it, that could have the same or similar effect to drink and if your not used to them they can affect you very quickly.
Sorry but Im not going to say I though it was fine when I didnt.
