Helen has three Baftas, three Emmys, a Golden Globe, two Cannes Film Festival awards and two Oscar nominations.

Yet she reckons Chantelle is more famous !!!

This is the sort of thing I moan about and I am very good at it!
Clive James said that people today are famous for doing NOTHING and I think he is right.

Think of it this way, Nikki is famous for WHAT? Pete is famous for WHAT? Paris Hilton is famous for WHAT? Nicole Ritchie is famous for WHAT?

What are these people famous for? let me think! are they talented ..No. Do they have a talent...No. Are they actors, musicians or people who have been dedicated to an art for many years..No. Are they very important people ..No. Then why do we think they are famous or more to the point, why are they?

Helen Mirren is an accomplished actress and actually brilliant if you have seen her act either in Prime Suspect or Elizabeth. I cant wait for the film to come out THE QUEEN which was released on Friday. This woman was on Parkinson several months ago and is so real and natural, not ego driven, not snobbish not anal retentive in any way. She is an example of an older and beautiful woman with class, savvy and sheer talent. She thinks she is not as famous as Chantelle...why? I can tell you why. In fact I can tell you why all these DUMB people are famous too.

Its called MARKETING AND MARKETABILITY.

What is marketing? If you understand that, you will understand WHAT makes people famous when they have absolutely B...cks all to offer society except a flash of their pants or a sweep back of their hair... Clothes, makeup, cars, aftershave everything that can be HUNG or attached to a human being to look at is MARKETABLE as well as the human being you ARE looking at being reasonable looking or having something about them that brought them into the news for whatever reason.

In fact, anyone can be famous. Fakers can be famous. If we all set our minds to it and really wanted it to happen FAKERS could be dead Famous. Its easy you just plug the idea and stick it onto something fashionable. ( i.e., catch phrase...Fakers...more than just a word...its real ) That is how things work these days and also remember something else ..it MUST APPEAL to TEENIES and young people...like a buzz word it must catch on...

Now back to Aisleyne. Aisleyne is now recognisable. Her name is known mainly because it is an unusual name, good for her as this will no doubt stick. If you say "Aisleyne " lets be honest and say, people will know who she is wont they? In fact it will be interesting between now and the next six months to see how many babies are called Aisleyne. ( You think Im kidding?!)

However Aisleyne is NOT BEING MARKETED enough yet. If she is, we dont know about it. She is being introduced what appears to be ...slowly into the main public arena... a bit like an intravenous drip.

I ask myself if she has still got something to do with Endermol. Why do I ask this? Well, Im considering whether they are still wringing out the last drop of blood from Nikki and Pete..first??? ( before turning attention to ais?? ..possibilities??) Also, the way that she was treated in the house with the twists of the HND etc, has she done a news article complaining about Endermol??...anybody?? can we assume she is OK with Endermol at the current time?? We all know in our hearts and minds that Pete has dropped from the walls at the moment as his career will go under wraps with the music and acting and that will take time to complete so it will be just pics and stuff like that to keep him in the publics faces. Those pics will be under any old guise like "Pete and Nikki fight over voulez vant at snack party or some such cr@p" and this will go on until Endermol make their money. I already read like some of you, that they do DEALS with the newspapers so I reackon most stuff was all organised to fill up pockets..

So this thing with Aisleyne, if, and I say if, she is loosely connected with Endermol still, it would be my guess that her whole appearance thing would be pretty much scattered and somewhat slow if you like whilst the Pete Nikki thing drains out.
Nikki hopefully will find a lovely corner of Australia and park herself there, it wont happen, but Im hoping some Aussie baseball/footy/rugger player will just pick her up with one hand and dump her at his kitchen sink. a pink one for a princess of course...

Aisleyne, unless she expressly does not want to become a marketable commodity, which it seems she does as she wants to work, will probably break through in the next few months to come.

I actuallys saw that PosH has got some kind of ROCK clothes show thing going on...If you look in CELEBRITY NEWS and click on one of the links on the page is another link that will show you what Posh is doing. She does clothes and fashion shows which I think Ais should be doing. Her body is her selling point and I think she is tall enough for catwalk. This is Aisleynes talent. She does have a talent its called MAGNETISM..
Its gonna get her everywhere, as long as no one gets in the way....


as for all these other faceless gimps who end up being famous...well I will sit and moan till doomsday about all that...hey is this sour grapes....?? no. its not. I think considering that as really talentless faceless undeserving famous people have to get up and try to look good at 6am for endless photographers even on a bad day.....they are welcome to it !!

if Aisleyne is famous in any way..lets make sure it is NOT for the same reasons as CHANTELLE...hope her agent has her head screwed on.

Some interesting thoughts there ODM which deserve a considered response.

My initial thoughts are that fame can be achieved in many different ways and used for many different purposes. Those who achieve fame for, say, great artistic works, will clearly last longer than those who achieve it only by, say, appearing on Big Brother.

BB contestants normally need to cash in on their temporary fame as fast as they can. I guess that they can also use it to open doors into a new career. And let's hope that if that's what Aisleyne wants, she is able to do that.

I think the words fame and celebrity are over used, and both imply a talent or worth, when in reality most of these people are just well known.

Perhaps we need a new word like "knownity". Or is that too close to nonentity.

Of course I'm biased and I think our Ash has talent in spades. It just hasn't been fully revealed to the world yet. I just hope she is given the chances.


As regards Endemol, I doubt if they will offer Ash any further work, but I have long suspected that the contracts that the hms have to sign have clauses that are binding long after BB is over.

For instance, this year in particular, it has become apparent that many, if not most, of the hms have been on dry runs of the house in previous years and have applied for BB on more than one occasion. But they never discuss this in interviews.
Even Chantelle (who I love), was in the dry run for BB6, but has never admitted this, and always skirts round any questions about the auditions process.

Interesting Emptybox regarding your comments there.

When I am signed by Agents ( I do stagework) where ever I am booked I am under contract for a year. Basically it means that if the agent only gives me one show in that venue in a whole year there is NOTHING i can do about it. It also means I cannot approach the venue personally until that year is up. In effect that can put an artist on ice when they could be working. (This has not happened to me, but it is comparing the ideas re agents and contracts ).
Therefore is Ais was under contract to Endermol, it depended very much what the clauses were regarding work and working for others...that is good food for thought that you have pointed out...as we do not know what was in that contract and what it says she can or cannot do.. bear in mind Pete and Nikki are working for Endermol and they have had all sorts of publicity..

I do that all the time ;DBut thats because I am nosey But I am a women and its in are natrual to be nosey ;D

If I ever had a little girl, I might name her Aisleyne. As I do luv that name. Its pretty and uncommon lol but I need a guy frist plus I am too young for kids lol
