I raised this point on another thread about the Diary Room Staff and how they dealt with the Housemates when they went into the DR saying they want to leave.
I will never forget the night of the campaign speech when Ash went into the DR. I have to say that I fully expected her to leave and, although I'm now glad she didn't, actually wanted her to. It was just too painful to watch. Now I have often wondered what they said to her in the DR. The only thing I can imagine that would have made me stay in similar circumstances would have been to have been told I was second favourite to win which, of course, Aisleyne was at the time.
There must be occasions though when the DR staff have conflicts of interest. Their employers are bound to want them to try at all costs to make HMs stay, possibly to the detriment of the HMs mental health.

So painful too was Ais when she was sitting in the bath..it brings a lump to my throat thinkng about it. It was so obvious when things got too much nobody really had anywhere they could go just to let the emotions run free off camera. Though some did the cry routine to get the cameras attention , Ais had her back turned to the Camera and sat in a little bundle. I wonder what was going through her mind then and I wondered if she wanted to leave then but had to hold on to her senses?? Some things we wont know.. It is strange, we remember all these things just like yesterday, but I expect the housemates have forgotten it like a healed cut on the knee...weird but true I suppose.

I don't think Ash will forget that night in a hurry. If I remember correctly, it was reported that she thanked the person who was in the Diary Room that night at the Wrap Party. She also said she wanted to leave after she was nominated for the fake eviction. I'm not sure if she made it to the Diary Room that time though. I think Susie may have calmed her down before she got there.
