I think ferrets are well cute but I don't know what they're like as pets. My dad lives in South Yorkshire - the ferret-owning capital of Britain! I've got quite used to seeing little whiskered heads popping out of people's jumper necklines. They make lovely pets and are very affectionate. One of my dad's neighbours has one that keeps escaping to potter round the local gardens. On the several occasions I've found it, it's been easy to catch as it loves having a cuddle and comes to me when I call it. If you like rats, you'll love having a ferret. (Though I wouldn't recommend having them both at once in case of 'accidents'! )

A pic of our chipmunk called squirrel He / she's lovely! What a cutie. My hammie is very tame but very happy. He might not live as long as an untamed one but hopefully he's happier. He did take nine months to tame though! And I did get one very nasty bite at one point. Now though he's lovely. Broke my heart for the first nine months though.
