Aww, they are soooo cute I've never had guinea pigs before, I've had rabbits and rats, I miss my ratties, I want some more but they don't live for very long I think ferrets are well cute but I don't know what they're like as pets.

They are my sister's. Very affectionate, very tame pig-wigs!
Piggies live usually for 4 - 7 years.
You need to take ferrets for walks. The only trouble with ferrets from what I've heard. Very popular pet in Northern Denmark bizarrely enough.

My sister has always tamed her pigs. They like a cuddle and conduct squeaky conversations with people. Very funny to witness.
It's takes a while to tame them like any animal and it helps if you keep them indoors but if you spend about 20 mins at least with your piggy every day, you should tame them.
They show affection by licking your nose.

I have had two guineas before and two rats. The guineas have a lovely squeaky conversation with you...and they are aufully cute when they are babies... as for rats, my elder son when younger had two minnie and daisy I think they were called. I loved them, they were gorgeous, I recommend rats as a pet...even though I do not have any now...

Thanks for posting everyone.
My sister volunteers at the RSPCA and she says the rats there are lovely, even though she is a dedicated piggie slave!
Me, I'm a hammie slave!

We had a hamster that we affectionately called "Sid Viscious". He'd bite anything that moved and would never let go once he got his teeth into you. Consequently we tended not to handle him if we could avoid it. The interesting thing is though that it turns out that hamsters live longer if you don't handle them for some reason. So, the b***ard lived til he was over 100 in hamster years. Don't have any photos, although I could show you a picture of us all dancing on his grave.
