;D Yay another Dot fan...love it...dont you? I forgot to mention something about the saga surrounding Dawn the Doctor and her twerp of a husband who Dawn got pregnant by. Now this storyline is stupid is,nt it? For one thing how can Dawn SELL her baby to the doctor when the REAL father is her bladdy husband?? By law he could vest an interest in the child and there would be no need for the doctor to offer to pay for it...I get the feeling this is one of those storylines they are lifting slightly out of reality and hoping that none of us are going to apply common knowledge to it... I can see it is going to be boring. Now I like Dawn but the most exciting thing about her lately is those gorgeous light violet mauve ankle boots she bought and the colour of her jumper, apart from that Dawn is failing to hold my attention....( yawn)..I still feel that if someone stuffed Mickey in the bath and eee stopped tawkin like this, I might just think he was quite dishy, but unfortunatley, I cant stand the eeee eeee eeee type of conversation... ....although I cant stend people thet talk laik this....either ...Im so hard to please.

Lol Maria .. ;D I adore Dot Cotton..shes fabulous..and she is the only person I know who can get a bible out every so often without people running out the room to put the kettle on...thats true ya know anyway, looks like the BAD GIRLS invasion of Eastenders...I dont know if that is good or bad..you decide but now we got another one as I have just lifted this off digital spy. The only thing that bothers me is that peoples mothers are turning up all over the place....Eventually at this rate they will have a LINE UP and a PICK YOUR OWN... Another 'Bad Girl' joins 'EastEnders' Friday, January 5 2007, 13:57 GMT By Kris Green, Soaps Editor Former Larkhall actress Kika Mirylees has landed a role in EastEnders. The 47-year-old actress - who played Bad Girls' inmate Julie Johnston for seven years before the show was axed - is to appear in Walford as Hazel Hobbs, mother to Garry (Ricky Groves). Hazel will first appear on screen in April when her son attends her wedding. She had plenty of boyfriends when Garry was growing up and she's heading to Albert Square for more. Of her new role, Kika said: "EastEnders is a programme I watch a lot. I think it will be great fun. The character I am playing is a good laugh which makes a change." Kika follows in the footsteps of former co-star Linda Henry, whose character, Shirley Wicks, decended on the Square earlier this week, while Victoria Alcock - who played Kika's on-screen best friend Julie Saunders - makes a guest-appearance in The Bill next Wednesday.

EastEnders star Kazinsky suspended Actor Robert Kazinsky has been temporarily suspendid from eastenders Robert Kazinsky following yet another sex scandal to hit the soap. Kazinsky, 23, who shot to fame as the show's womaniser Sean Slater, has been temporarily axed for bombarding a model with obscene text messages and photos. The incident echoes the controversy that saw Leslie Grantham written out of the BBC1 soap. Grantham had made his comeback as Dirty Den when it emerged that he took part in webcam sex sessions from his dressing room in Elstree Studios. To prevent disruption to the soap's forthcoming storylines, newcomer Kazinsky will continue filming until February, when he will be out of the show for two months. The actor, an unknown before joining EastEnders, is said to be upset and apologetic over the incident and has said he is sorry for bringing the show into disrepute. An EastEnders spokesman said: "Following the story in the Sunday People on January 7 2007, EastEnders executive producer Diederick Santer has taken the decision to suspend Robert Kazinsky from early February for a period of two months. "In addition, Robert Kazinsky would like to apologise for any offence caused to EastEnders' viewers and for bringing the show into disrepute."

Did you ever see June Cotton in Lace - a brilliant mini series i have to say from the 80's was in 2 parts and it starred a very young phoebe cates june cotton was a not so nice mother LOL Julie hon, you made me smile. I think you just confused us lot thats all, partly by mixing together her real name (June Brown) and her characters name (Dot Cotton) and perhaps also because June wasn't actually in Lace. This is the link to some info on her, listing her film and TV appearances: june brownIt doesn't mention her being in anything called Lace. However, I do remember the TV series called quite well. It was an American TV mini-series, so I doubt June would have been in it but I can definitely see why you thought she was... This is it isn't it Jules.. The story was about Phoebe Cates' attempts to track down her birth mother. The mother could be one of three women, all of whom had vowed to never reveal the secret truth behind the child's illegitimate birth. You've just mistaken June, for the American actress Brooke Adams, shown above Phobe in the picture. They do look really alike in that pic. This is her I can certainly see the likeness that caused you to mistake her for our Dot. I reckon it was the hairstyle she had on the show that did it. Though Id have to be honest and say, as lovely as June may be, Brooke was best known for her roles in 'scary' or 'horror' type films and was just a tad prettier than Dot. You may remember Brook as having quite a deep husky voice, her best know role was probably starring alongside Donald Sutherland, in the Invasion of The Body Snatchers. **Anyway, sorry I sort of had to digress from the Eastenders theme of this thread (me is bit of a film fan/nutcase, especially the scary sort ) I just didn't want our jules feeling ignored and wanted to let her know I got what she was talking about** If they ever need a stand-in for Dot we know where to send them now!

New 'EastEnders' death plot revealed Saturday, January 13 2007, 14:17 GMT
By Daniel Kilkelly
Joe Macer is to be killed off by EastEnders producers as the 'Who killed Pauline?' plot takes a new twist.
Macer - a key suspect in a police investigation of the death - will fall through a window following an argument with Jim Branning, leaving viewers guessing over whether he was murdered or committed suicide.
An insider told The Sun: "The whodunnit is set to carry on. Sonia is the main suspect but then Joe dies, throwing confusion into the mix. Did he kill Pauline? Was he killed himself?"
