I had a good business going, but sadly imports made it very difficult to make a living. You need to do dead sheep for that these days

I would imagine it's a very tough way to earn a living. It must be hard to sell a ton of rock to tourists, particularly now Ryan Air have instituted those weight restrictions. We stayed at place Maine in the States last year where the owner ran her own business like yours with a little shop in Bar Harbour. Even with all the wealthy customers you get there she found it hard. We bought a couple of items, one of which got broken in transit on the way home.

Ha ha ha .............. Actually I sold a load of stuff in London but that was their problem how to get it there. People do not really value art, unless they are collectors and then they want dead sheep . I have a friend who lives on Cape Cod, there are loads of artists who try to earn a living that way there. Oh dear, now I have got itchy feet and want to fly away somewhere.
