I'm a Celebrity...

Anyone else loving this already. Day 2 and already addicted. Here's my [quick] verdict on the celebs so far -

David Gest - thought I would hate him but he is brilliant. A bit rude and up himself and tends to name drop a lot but excellent entertainment. Loved him in the trial tonight.

Jason Donovan - yum yum yum. What a lovely bloke and like his relationship with David.

Phina - Never liked her in Footballer's wives and like her even less now. Hope she is first to go. Baaaaad attitude

Mylene - Lovely but not that entertaining [yet]

Jan - found her very annoying and childish after she did the trial but will give her another chance

Lauren - mmm not liking her a bit and quite frankly disappointed. Seen her few times on various shows and always like her but really not too keen in this

Faith - like her but hope she stops making all those stupid noises and she might do ok

Toby - nice but boring

Matt - too early to comment. seems nice enought atm but again, quite uninteresting so far

Scott - the only one I hadn't heard of before and is coming accross quite arrogant and bitchy at the moment. Did not like his pre-show interview at all.


Just watch me change my mind at least 2 or 3 times with each celeb before the end

I haven't seen Day 2 yet as I didn't have time last night but based on Day 1 and yesterday's ITV2 show my early opinion is as follows:

Favourites - Mylene and Toby. I loved Mylene on Space Cadets so she was my favourite even before the show started and I really liked Toby Anstis too.

Least favourite - I'm not liking Phina or Scott.

I'm not particularly keen on David Gest or Lauren although I recognize that David is entertaining.

I quite like Matt and Jason.

I started off liking Jan but wasn't too impressed by her attitude during the trial.

Not sure about the others yet.

I'm enjoying it. The show has started with some good tasks. Fresh thinking was needed here as they were a little 'samey' last year.

David Gest is entertaining & not as useless as he was made out to be in the press reports, so I'm pleasantly surprised. Not only can he handle a snake, but he did really well in that task to get 6 out od 10 stars. Let's face it it was nasty. He is earning his fee with his hilarious name-dropping and of course he does take off his sun-glasses.

At present I am finding Jan Leeming the most annoying with her constant whinging. Scott Henshall is hateful. He really is. Not only did he come out with ssome offensive rubbish in his pre-show interview, but he is also totally selfish & charmless. I don't understand why he is there. He has no entertainment value at all.

I love listening to Booth bad mouth the Blairs & she's coming out with some pretty serious stuff. Last night she accused Tony Blair of killing 640,000 Iraquis or something like that. I thought the ITV would censor that but I'm pleased they did not.

I hate the Kerry McFadden sponsorship links between the show's parts. They've already become tedious. And I really can't stand Ant & Dec. Their bits are just cheesey, predicable & boring.

I like Ant and Dec but I'm not enjoying the new pair they have on the ITV2 show (Kelly Osbourne and some Australian I've not heard of).

I love the fact that they've got Sheree Murphy in her own show at 5.30, though ;D

David Gest is definitely growing on me now. I think he's got a great sense of humour and is coming across well.

I'm liking Jason more too.

Myleene seems to be brilliant at everything. After rescuing Lauren from a spider and making a cake for Scott's birthday she then managed to weave some hats out of palm fronds (on the live feed)! I can't wait to see how she handles a trial ;D

i found it hilarious that they melted the candles on the cake lol

i swear to god fancy giving up after 1 star and i think jan is the ultimate pointless person on there just wanting to give up all the time.

Still liking Myleene, David, Jason more so as they can find everything funny and just get on with things - i was actually wishing it to be these 3 to do a trial as you can tell nothing phases David, Myleene would just get on and do it and Jason would be willing them on Lauren and Toby would get on possibly Faith i wouldnt get to do it being because she is top heavy and wouldnt balance and Matt, Pheela and Jan possibly Scott would all cry off.

Cant wait to see the new ones coming in bit like big brother getting old celebs and new celebs into another camp.....cant wait

I'm really annoyed with my Sky+ at the moment. It has now failed to record the ITV1 show two nights running, including Sheree's spin-off

Fortunately I noticed and caught the end of Day 2 and the second part of this evening's one but I've missed both of Scott's trials now

I saw the new guy's trial, though. Hilarious

He looked like he was having a full-blown panic attack just from the thought of having to do a trial and maintained a high state of panic throughout

You have to give him respect, though. He may have been the most frightened celebrity I've ever seen but he did well and didn't back out ;D
