just bought six new books today in second hand shop two Danielle Steele and Four Catherine cookson...the whole six only cost £2.20... NOW THATS A BARGAIN.!!  I like going into charity shops to search for books, that's what I do if I'm looking for a new author, it saves spending a lot of money on a book to discover the author is rubbish! Nothing beats the smell of a fresh brand new book though  |

Mrs Remaha buys Folio Society editions, which cost about double the normal hardback price. She keeps telling me that they'll increase in value. And I keep telling her that Aisleyne keeps ringing me up for a date!!!!

Nothing beats the smell of a fresh brand new book though I have to say I love libraries....when I buy a book if it was good I have to pass it on so rarely keep them for long, did set up a library once when I worked in a well known chemist shop, (think winter footware), the idea was to borrow a book for however long you wanted and make a donation to charity, all the books were donated as well by staff members, still think its a good idea and may try it in my new workplace after I've settled in and am running the place ;D |
