The death of Tara Windsor-Jones:

An infamous activist who was also a internationally acclaimed author was found in her abandoned car stabbed several times.
Tara was most famous, however, for her involvement in a religious cult "children of the rising sun" in which she was married to the notorious leader, Sol.

The cult, which has had negative press, is a "female only" group with Sol being the only male allowed.
Tara was strongly influenced by Sol when she was writing an article about his infamous religious "family" and later became his wife.
Tara has been imprisoned on several occasions for her wild activist ways.

Rita: The Fourtune Teller

Rita Pap is a 43 year old woman who makes her money fortune telling and speaking to dead relatives. She has a stall on Bournemouth seafront and read many star's palms. She is very pessimistic, who often dwells on things and thinks the worse of everyone and all situations. She loves to be the centre of attention and exaggerates the truth to get it. She did like the deceased very much as she came to her with all her problems and often wanted Rita to get in touch with her late father. She disapproves of the cult Tara came from.

Sol: The Cult Leader


He is in his early 50's, a teenager of the 60's, he felt desperately unhappy when things began changing and wanting to capture the spirit of the 60's he created his own cult. He loved Tara (the deceased) but she was a difficult woman who objected to his "free love" approach in the cult after the two were married. She was jealous of his affairs with other ladies. His new wife, Siesta, is more suitable and understands his needs and the way of the cult.

Mickey: The Hells Angel

A hells angel in his late 50's he loves rock music, chicks and motorbikes. He's lived his whole life on the road with his fellow hells angels and no-one's going to change that. He was a very good friend of the deceased, after being friends together in their younger wilder days, but she couldn't stand his wild lifestyle. He misses Tara, but its nothing a bottle of whiskey can't cure. Originally from Arizona, in the States he fled to England in the late 80's when the cops back there were out to get him. He has a criminal background, but its for nothing he considers serious.

Jolean: The Jerry Springer Guest

A big lady in her late 30's who used to live in a trailer park in Alabama. Jolean only recently moved to a nice house in London. Life was getting too much for her in the U.S. Her caravan was regularly being stoned, and she was constantly being referred to as "weird Jolean". She's appeared on Jerry Springer twice on a show entitled "I married an alien". A doctor in Texus has diagnoised Jolean as schizophrenic but she believes the F.B.I want to cover the truth about her extra terrestrial experiences.

Lizzy: The Lady of the Night

Lizzy is in her late thirties and has had a hell of a life and is quite uncontrollable. She's a thief, prostitute and convicted murderer, she can't tolerate annoying people and has little patience. She has been in and out of prison all her life for various convictions. She enjoys flirting, its her trade, she chain-smokes and is a big drinker. She enjoys her present job, she believes she's making an honest living, for once.

Christine: The Mother

Christine tells people she's 30, but as her dead daughter was of this age, very few believe her. She feels she led a boring life, bringing up her children and now she's making up for it by having fun! She's an 18-30 rep in Corfu, and enjoys drinking, meeting new men and soaking up the sun all day. She's extremely vain and her looks are very important to her. (Once Tara lent her money to have a face lift). She likes being round young people and listening to dance music. She and her daughter were never going to get on, Tara was ashamed of Christine's lifestyle and visa versa.
