This thread was prompted by DT's question over at OA in which she asked Ash the question "Are you content?".
Who knows what Ash's answer will be. I know if you asked me that question Alice, I wouldn't necessarily give you a completely straight answer! However, Ash is fairly well-known for being up-front in matters like this. So we'll have to wait and see what she says.
What I wondered though was whether anyone else feels a little bit concerned about Ash's furure career prospects. Whilst she's raking in the cash now as a glamour model and is obviously popular with certain sectors of the press, this career avenue is not necessarily going to stay open for ever.
Yes, there's the radio show and Ash truly does appear to have some talent in that area but I seriously doubt whether she's going to get rich working on an internet radio station. So she's going to have to move onwards and upwards, which could be tough to do.
My guess is that the agony aunt column may only last a few more months.
OK, Ash is right to take these opportunities while she can, but what of the long-term future!

Well yes, the long term future is a tough one. She should definitely invest her hard earned money though.

Aisleyne strikes me as a very smart, ambitious and determined woman. I don't think she is likely to have a huge amount of longevity in the public eye (although I'd love to be proven wrong in that) but I do think that she's been doing, and will continue to do, very well for herself in the short term. With a bit of judicial planning and some sound business sense I think she could have a bright future whether she continues in the public eye or not.
Life's all about making the most of the opportunities that come your way and Aisleyne seems to be grabbing onto them with both hands ;D
Regards
Julian

It is a difficult business and to reach the top, I would say like Jordan was, can be difficult. Lets face it there are not that many well known glamour models, well not that I know.
I hope she invests the money she makes wisely, as I believe that unless she breaks into TV or a more mainstream radio show then her career will be short lived.
I asked was she content as I want to know if she has achieved any goals she may have set for herself. Or, if now she has a taste for this kind of lifestyle has contentment gone out the window.
Most people in the public eye don't make it big overnight, so I hope that she finds a niche and continues to make the best of any work she gets now.
There is also making opportunities for ones self, as I tell my children go out and grab life, don't wait for it to come to you, as you may be waiting an awfully long time for it to knock on the door.

What Ash needs is a boyfriend that she can be seen in public with who will attract the interest of the Celeb mags. It would obviously be better if this person was a celebrity in his own right. She'd be raking in the money then. This lack of a boyfriend could, in any case, be one of Ash's areas of discontent. I can't imagine that she would have any difficulty finding a man. The question is whether she can find the right man. Perhaps she's really still in love with someone else, you know, someone who is being detained at Her Majesty's pleasure. I know she says she not bovvered, but . . .

Maybe so Rem, I dont think Aisleyne is the type just to take on a man for profit, unlike some we could mention.

Ash is a grafter and a go-getter. She will do well for herself even if she does not stay in the public eye. I hope she invests her money well. She must be set up for life now. I heard her say on her show that she wants to set up a business. Can't remember when or what.

That's a good philosophy to take, and I hope she keeps it in her mind. Don't aim high, and everything's a happy bonus.
