Crystal, I'm guessing you didn't say who wrote the post that you just added because you thought it might break the rules. Have to say it had me wondering as well. Anyway, it was written by the DS user 'Opkins who just told me that she's happy to have achieved her moment of fame over here.

I found another. Sorry folks!! This was a post I made following the weekend that Nikki had her massive sulk after Aisleynes return to the main house. She had unjustly accused Ash of making her feel frightened and bullied to Richard, Jayne and also to Pete. It was an extremely eventful weekend, with so much happening, including her feigned making-up with Ash and all of the shenanigans of the spin the bottle evening amongst other things. As events transpired, that weekend proved pivotal in Nikki’s subsequent eviction from the house. Nikki’s behaviour had been her own undoing. My post refers to the dynamics of a specific incident, a conversation in the lounge between Nikki, Jayne and Ash.DIVIDE AND CONQUOR!So, yesterday the two smiley-faced assassins went to work on their new, if somewhat unlikely bestest buddy, Aisleyne. They also threw in a hefty portion of muck-stirring for Aisleyne's new bed-mate, the gobby but relatively sweet, Jennie. As we all know by now, Nikki and Jayne have engaged in full on bi@tching sessions about Aisleyne, both before and after her return to the main house. Their resentment of Ash runs very deep, judging by the disgracefully spiteful comments made about her in the bathroom the other evening and, at what seems like practically any and every available opportunity. Nikki has also been making negative noises about another new and unsuspecting victim, Jennie, ever since she popped her perfectly pert nose around the diary room door. It seems that Nikki sees Jennie as quite a serious threat, in more ways than one. After all, how dare she come along and by default, take away Nikkis self appointed role as the 'baby' of the house, simply because she is actually younger?!?! Pah! ‘That’s Nikkis role. Nikki does that! It’s Nikki’s job!’ And of course, just who does that little upstart Jennie think she is, making friends with Pete after just five minutes in the house?! Pete is Nikki’s possession as anyone should know. Nobody else is permitted to fancy him. This is effectively what Nikki has told other HM's. Shame she never bothered to ask Jennie about it really, isn't it? Anyway, Nikki pulled her hissy strop and mega sulking session on Saturday night and continued it for most of Sunday. Aishlene finally managed to get Nikki to belt-up by yet again being the adult of the scenario. She subsequently paid the price for her maturity by having to spend the best part the next day in the company of the petulant one, in order to appease her! Seeing an opportunity capitalise on a situation (something Nikki is never one to allow to get past her), Nikki sought to kill two birds with one stone, or should that be two rival HM's in one hit. Poor Aisleyne had been so drained by and embroiled in the whole Nikki sulk situation that her usually well tuned radar, wasn't quite in tune. She failed to realise she was being played like a fiddle by the diminutive yet seasoned pro and her newly acquired henchman, Jayne! So, while Aisleyne’s head was still reeling from the deluge of emotionally charged events of the previous 48 hours; the Nikki 'break-up/make-up' epic, the Spiral jealous ‘snog-rejection’ saga, the knee trembling kiss session with Pete (phwar!) and that morning’s ‘air-clearing’ chat with Spiral, this was the moment the two vindictive women chose to go to work on their crafty divide and destroy strategy. Take a look at the 'Jennie Jealousy' clip and 'Hubble Bubble' news item on the BB website in which Nikki and Jayne subtly (as a sledgehammer) suggest that Jennie fancies Pete. And surprise, surprise, at this point the penny apparently drops for Ais. ‘Oh yeah…’, she says, to their revelation. This apparently innocuous conversation coloured everything that happened for the rest of the day. Why do you think it is that BB made certain it was put on the website. Even they recognised its significance but not for the right reasons. The two malicious madams had successfully planted a seed of doubt into Aisleyne's already spinning mind, as to what Jennie’s apparent intentions were. Ash was probably still reeling from the effects of the steamy lip-lock session with Pete the night before (and who wouldn't!), so at that point the last thing she would want to hear was that there was yet another rival for Pete’s attention. Naturally she began to feel a certain degree of jealousy about the amount of time Jennie appeared to be spending with Pete. Jennie in turn picked up on Ash’s distance through the day and low, the assassin’s sordid little plan had clicked into action and both girls drew further away from each other. Unfortunately for Nikki and Jayne, after he’d made up with Ash himself, Spiral seemed quite determined not to let the rift between Ash and Jennie to grow and he coaxed them both to speak. Jayne had noted the rising tension between them and also encouraged Ash to go speak to Jennie. However, I think her motives were very different. She knew Jennies volatile nature and I suspect that she hoped accusations would fly and that a full-on row would erupt between them. It very nearly did at one point. It took some time for both girls to realise what had happened between them. Thankfully, once Ash admitted that she had felt jealous about Pete the door was opened for them to talk more easily. Of course Ash had to ask Jennie if she fancied Pete. The reason was twofold. She needed to know first for herself. Being the person she is Ash would have backed off if she found it was true. Secondly, she asked because by then she had realised that it was Nikki and Jayne who had put the initial thought into her head. She really did believe Jennie fancied Pete. Her words to Jennie “...if anyone asks…do you fancy him” were a direct reference to her earlier conversation with Nikki and Jayne, which of course Jennie knew nothing about. I am so relieved that the two girls have resolved this situation and survived yet another sabotage attempt to destroy Ash, firstly by trying to paint her as a bully and then by undermining her friendships.

'Opkins Again - The first part is the post 'Opkins was replying to.
I'm a lapsed RC. We say you can leave the church, but the church never leaves you. Dogma was my problem. I truely believe in the moral teaching of the great religions, but sectarianisum leads to cross condemnation. The 3 major religions of the Western World all have a common root. I refer to them as the children of Abraham. But my experience of people from all sectors of society, faiths and non-believers led me to reject that only the true believers of a particular faith are 'saved'.
I now believe in my children, and strive to do right, I fail often. Most people are decent. For me evil is not tangible, though it's effects are. Evil is the abscence of good. Good people do evil things, not because they are inherently evil but because for a time their moral light was switched off, or because in the case of Ash's Mum, maybe because the religion she choose gave her no choice. We don't know.
To reject a child that had no say in it's conception is an abrogation of responsibility. Some children are born without the capacity to realise the difference between right and wrong. Society allowed the rest to be created. Either way we have a social responsibilty to protect society against wrong doers and sociopaths. We should have the right to remove them from society, I still question that we have the right to end their lives.. None of us asked to be born.
Ash's mum rejecting her was a morally poor action by someone who is not A-moral. This leads to Ash and her ex.
Much condemnation has been leveled at him and her. His crimes were judged and he was found guilty and imprisioned. But is he devoid of goodness? I doubt it. In my nearly 50 years I have never met a truely evil person, and I've met some real nasties.
Ash is bonded to this imperfect man and it takes courage to stand by the imperfect. I vividly remember her saying in her tiff with Glyn something like that 'if that's what the majority think then I disagree with the majority'. That's the moment she won my heart.
She hasn't let me down since.
Now 'Opkins Reply
I am struck by the sensitivity and humanity and inherent goodness and compassion shown here .
I am reminded again that God is love.
I don't mean that in a Bible punching way , simply as an expression. It is a concept I believe more and more as I get older.
I am a lapsed non conformist. Yet that verse I learned so long age is one I am beginning to comprehend,
It's all about love. Not the romantic kind. More like maternal love. It is the cement that binds us together, I think.
Where there is social disintegration, there is an absence of love.=, or perhaps care is a word that readers will find more comfortable.
Aisleyne is crying out for it. Many do. Yet we are selfish, tired, lazy. stressed , working and we don't love where there is an absence of it in our communities. We neglect.
We are occupied by our own children and loved ones. And we judge others and can be scathing. The unloved are outsiders, feeling increasingly more worthless.
It's like the good / bad analogy; the loved /unloved.
To deprive a child of love is unnatural.
Yet it is equally unnatural for a parent to deny him/herself of a child's love.
Not enough care in this world. If only we could spread more love and care and be less selfish. Would it end wars, if we truly cared about our neighbours and people ? Worth a try.
In an ideal world, in a loving caring environment, people can change. We have to believe people can be rehabilitated in the right context.
I am not sure that I believe in the concept of evil, I am more optimistis/idealistic and see it as good and an absence of good, and it is all to do with loving, caring ......or not.
But now I am confusing myself. And I sound like an aged hippy. I am not, honestly ! Maybe senility has set in prematurely.
Wish the rain would stop. Hot bath I think. Aisleyne did well on T4 though I didn't see it all. She was .......bright, confident, herself. Good girl !
So make that 30 mins of fame for 'Opkins.

I'll post this as it brings back some pleasant memories - and having finished nightshifts a while ago but still cant get to sleep I'm bored! I posted these two on eviction day and the pleasant memories were related to quite a lot of replies not only saying that they agreed, but a good few said they had been Pete fans previously, but had just recently changed in the last few weeks to support Ais!). The only bad point about it was that I got a bit too excited with the responses and foolishly began to think that everyone in the country might be changing their minds too It was posted at a time when there were a lot of threads going up critisising the speech that Ais gave to Pete. I was very peed off with Pete at the time - so I wouldn't advise ANY Pete fans to read this or you'll be after my blood 'As soon as Ais finishes her speech, Pete immediately has a dig 'I've no chance of winning now' (or words to that effect)..why did he say that? He says it to point out that hes not happy with her speech ... to draw attention not only to the public, but to fellow housemates as well - hoping someone like Nicky will pick up on it.
When hes talking with Ash about it later on (and by this stage has made it obvious to Ash hes not happy) hes his usual vague self - rather than just saying clearly (and showing her he meant it) 'don't be silly, it was only a task its no big deal' (as most reasonable people would do to reassure the other person) he continues to act as if he is bothered while not saying anything specifically. Its totally ridiuclous to behave in such a childish way and surely shows how self-absorbed he is and how seriously he is taking this competition. He deliberately wanted to continue to make Ais feel guilty as if she had done something really wrong!
Then, having made sure fellow housemates picked up on his 'disappointment', he then lets them do his dirty work by slagging off Aisleyne. As usual he has created two sides - and has made both of them look bad while he (as instigator) sits back as an innocent party. He highlighted how Aiss speech was bad, acted depressed about it - and got Nicky to rant and rave about it so she looks bad too. Its what hes done before on so many occasions - being the underlying reason that Lea and Ais started to argue, Lea and Nicky, Lea and Lisa , Ais and Jenny, Nikki and Ais, Mikey and Jenny etc. Hes so clever. I'm not suggesting that housemates shouldn't be held responsible and blamed for their own actions - of course they should - I'm just irritated at the sneaky way pete is involved in it - yet always sits back as the completely innocent party and escapes any blame or connection to it.
Then afterwards, once the thing has settled down, both parties in the incident have been made to look bad and shown their worst sides.... he sneaks off to the diary room - and continues to remind the public about both Ais and Nikkis faults, highlighting yet again that Aiss speech was 'crap' and mentions how Nikki blames Ash (but makes sure he whispers how that he doesn't blame her) so that hes made to look like the innocent who only sees the good in people, when it was his initial words and reactions that started the whole thing off in the first place!
Interesting he has to whisper about Nikki - he wants to let the public know hes not really that in with Nikki - but still wants to pretend to her on the outside that he is!
Apart from taking the speech thing far too seriously and deliberately making Ais feel bad about it, I find it a bit hypocritical of Pete to get offended at Aiss speech when hes put so little effort into boosting up other housemates in similar type tasks. Did anyone hear his one line comments about Ashs ass and Immogens teeth in the university yearbook? (especially when you compare it to everyone elses who gave really long, thoughtful and complimentary comments to their housemates). In my opinion, Ais and Immogen would have had more right to complain then than Pete did last night - since Ash actually mentioned a lot of nice things about him in her speech (I'm not sure what more she could have added to be honest).
Ais has bigged Pete up throughout the entire show - its obvious she hasn't the slightest problem identifying the positives in others as she does it all too often. Pete on the other hand only bigs up the girl hes interested in at that time - and thats for his own ends too!
Can you imagine if it had been Pete who had mucked up Aiss' speech? Do you think it would have been played out the same as it was last night? Of course not!
Not only would Pete not be critisised for mucking up Aiss speech, he'd be getting sympathy, support and encouragement from everyone re-assuring him that it didn't matter.
More to the point, do you think Ais would be feeling gutted that he didn't portray her as well as he could have and she might not have a chance of winning as a result and letting him know how disappointed she was? Of course not!
She'd be consoling and comforting him - and telling him not to be so silly - it didn't bother her and she understands it can be difficult to present etc etc
How ironic is it that Ash - whose main worry is how to deal with the HATE when she gets out - ends up comforting and supporting and reassuring Pete....and why? Because hes worried in case he doesn't win the enitre competition outright! If only Ais had that to worry about! I just found that scene so ironic - as usual its Ais doing the giving (supporting, encouraging and giving good advice) and not getting much in return from him. They're both housmates who should have equal chance and opportuntiy to win the title. Why on earth should Pete get reassurance in case he doesn't win? Why is Ais the comforter when she deserves to be the one that is being comforted? Her concern is being hated by everyone - if her only worry was that she might not win, she'd be having a ball.
His worries and what hes been put through in that house are miniscule if you compare them to Ais's - yet he receives far more comfort and support than she does - and seems to expect it too'

This one I added to the BBG forum for some fun! I did ensure my spelling and Typo's were corrected as the original post had a rather embarrasing mistake. I wonder if you can guess which word! (clue - first paragraph) The Thong Thing After the uproar of a certain BB housemate wearing a thong on national TV, a campaign by The Anti-Ais Brigade (TAAB) has been launched to ‘clean up’ our public areas. A White Paper by TAAB on Public Decency plans to make most enclosed public areas, including offices and factories, thong free. Only private clubs, where members voted to allow thongs, and pubs which do not serve prepared food would be exempt. The proposals for a thong ban go further than had been expected. They mean that up to 90% of public places could be thong-free within a few years. But some opponents of the thong wearers are disappointed that they stop short of an outright ban, a spokesperson for the anti-thong wearing TAAB eloquently states “she is fake, get her out” Speaking in the Commons, TAAB pledged to cut the number of people wearing thongs by 2 million over the next five years. An extremely large group ‘The Fakers’ support the wearing of thongs: "In a free society, men and women ultimately have the right within the law to choose their own lifestyle. In Cities around the country thong wearers have already felt the full force of the new laws. Three girls walking in the high street yesterday were arrested for wearing thongs. One of the girls, a pretty blonde, was accused of deliberately showing her thong to the cameras after a gust of wind blew her skirt to reveal a tiny thong. “This was obviously a deliberate attempt to show herself to the cameras” said an Anti-Ais spokesperson “ There are a lot of cameras in that area, one over Boots the Chemist and another pointing towards the high street towards MacDonald’s and the counsel have many other CCTV cameras in that area” “this girl knew it would be windy just in that corner of the high street and manipulated her skirt to blow up the way it did” said a witness. The Fakers stated today that the new laws are being taken to the extreme, “Two OAP’s were arrested yesterday because people thought they might be wearing thongs, and if they weren’t actually wearing them they were sure they were thinking about wearing them”
