This song is on the list to go in my show.. Amazing song..lots of versions from Sam Cooke Etc., but Patti La belle sings this one. and vocally plays too much with the melody, but its still lovely. My Favourite version is by Tina Turner.. A Change is Gonna Come www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GWj2CQL_LE&mode=related&search=I adore Black singers...they are the mechanics of true soul.

Its John Lydons birthday today 31/1 hes 51 ..i remember hearing them when i was a schoolboy and from there the world was a different place for me,within a week i had my haircut short and coloured brown(my natural coloure becouse i didnt want to get wrong off my dad ) i had all my clothes ripped and torn and got myself a pair of beattle crushers ,i looked the real deal ,so i thought, with in a month i got my first guitar and amp and didn't my parents like that :)after a month of playing the guitar i joined a band after a couple of reheasals we where ready and we played our first gig at the miners wellfare club,we where on the bill with five other bands,i would like to say we where good but i blame the bass player for walking off the stage for the bad performance, we had three guitar players so i had to grab the bass and saying i had never played one before i done a good job,so thats how i started playing bass,i played in bands for years not realy trying to get some where it was just for the fun of it,dont get me wrong we did used to talk about making it,we just never looked for it, it always seamed the middle class guys pretending to be working class kids got all the attention off the people in the know I think the last time i appeared on a stage was in about 1996 i think ,then it was only for the end set,we played out with three numbers ive found one of them ile try to find the other two,so heres the sex pistols-Anarchy in the uk www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bM_l443VV4U2-New years day www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uG0ibLQUy0Joy Division-Love will tear us apart www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLllav6GIOg&mode=related&search=www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXSg3Hk6pq4&mode=related&search=
