If this is still the 'one a day' thread, I dont post here very much but I have more than 'one' today, although they are all related to the same thing. 1. Much to my parched throat's relief, I just managed to move about for long enough to make myself a cuppa and keep it down. Cant eat, it engages muscles which trigger instant nausea and can bring on another attack. Even sitting is difficult, so I can only manage it for 1/2 hour or so before needing to lie down again. My old problem has returned and Ive been barely able to shift position all day, let along move about because of the unrelenting pain, all day. Luckily I had water, painkillers and my phone adjacent to me when the attack took hold. 2. I was quicker off the mark with the painkillers this morning , so I managed to avoid suffering the extreme severity of the last attack and that means I will probably be good as new again by Sunday. 3. Managed to sit up for long enough to log on for a short while earlier this evening. (Paid for it though). 4. Despite my reservations, I booked an appointment with the doctor. Something positive I suppose. I'd promised my son the last time it happened that I would go to the doctor if it happened again. Couldn't get an earlier appointment than 3rd November but it's a step further than Ive been prepared to go for a very long time, since the last time I failed to attend a hospital appointment about it. Hope Silena and kirsties own appointments get them sorted. Need to go lie down again now, nausea is coming back from sitting up. I expect I'll be able to come back on a bit longer tomorrow.

I'm glad you've made an appointment Maria, I hope all goes well for you hun, let us know how you get on, I hope that tomorrow is a better day for you. I had my appointment today at the hospital for my Cryosurgery with the Gynaecologist and it was absolutely awful, having it done was ok, it just felt a bit weird, but 5 minutes after leaving the hospital I was doubled up in pain and crying my darn eyes out it was that bad, I've had to lie down all day as I couldn't sit and I'm doped up to the eyeballs with painkillers. I have to go back in January and have more freezing done, he says the mass, the pain and the symptoms are likely to get worse before they'll get better

Thanks Andy and Silena. I managed to doze off for a while but my whole abdomen still feels like its been kicked repeatedly by a horse and I daren't cough or laugh (as if ) or it starts to spasm again. Silena well done for being so brave. You sound as though your treatment has left you feeling pretty much the same as myself today. My aunt had the same treatment several years ago, there's light at the end of it all hon. x back to bed for me.
