discuss your fav films here plus any new movies you may have seen so what was the last film everyone saw mine was john tucker must die So many good films...its difficult to remember them though. Carlitos Way, Life is Beautiful, Shallow Grave, Goodwill Hunting and Schindlers List would all be in my top ten. Cloud 9, now that you've mentioned it Life is Beautiful would get into my top 10 as well. it was a really quirky, heart-warmingly funny, but heart-rendingly sad movie. For those that haven't seen it, it's an Italian film that's subtitled. Its a story about a family of Jews who were put into a concentration camp in Italy during the Second World War. BUT, don't be put off by that. It is actually very life-affirming and oozes with quality perfomances and charm.

Folllowing on from others lists in this genere The painist Shop girl You've got mail Im a sucker for this type of movie. LOTR best book to screen translation ever I think, even though a lot was left out. I like a lot of old movies, people like Bettie Davis, Carry Grant etc., Last movie I saw, The Break Up there are way too many I like Dont really like horror or blood and guts movies.

I got my copy of Silent Hill the movie in the post this morning, I haven't seen it yet, I'm going to watch it tonight, well excited SH, just the trailer on TV last night for Silent Hill scared us all to death here at remaha towers. I don't think we'll be going to see that one. I don't get scary movies. I had a friend who went to see "The Exoricist" several times on his own. Each time he went he nearly drove himself mad with horrific nightmares. Everyone would tell him not to go again but there was no stopping him. He said he enjoyed it. If I go to see something like that, I have to tell myself all the way through that it's just a story. But doing that takes away some of the reason for being there, I suppose.

I had to wait until it came out on DVD to see it as no-one would go to the cinema with me to watch it, everyone's a big wuss! It was really good, quite gruesome in places but that's the kind of thing I was expecting having played the Silent Hill games. I'm surprised it got a 15 certificate as I would compare it to the likes of Hellraiser which is an 18, but then I guess that was made a long time ago and the brackets for movie certificates have changed a lot since then. Saying that, I watched The Ring and it scared me whitless and that's only a 15, I guess it's more psychologically scary than an in your face gorey scary, the psychological ones get at me more.

Has anyone ever watched Touched By Love its a film from the 80's and i do have it somewhere on video but probably damp as to where its been sitting, same with all the Elvis films we have, lol but Touched by Love was such a emotional film and i could guarantee that you would be crying in the end. I loved watching Where the Red Fern Grows, Old Yellar both these films are doggy based films and tearjerkers, i loved watching the Black Stallion also and also Black Beauty Films
