Carrick that's such awful news. Im not surprised you're feeling devastated. I barely know what to say but Im truly sorry for your loss.
Its so sad, but it seems that its always the good ones who are taken before their time. Your friend sounds like a 'salt of the earth' type, so Im sure there will be a lot of people who will remember him with only fond memories.
People we know who are like that never die in our hearts, they leave behind them the wonderful legacy of something good to aspire to. That's their special gift, they're such a great example for us all that they leave the world a little bit of better place to be.

It may make you sad to remember them sometimes but you hold on tight to those good memories carrick.

Thanks every body, its Johns funeral tomorrow so i hope he gets the send off he deseves which i know he will , for some reason im feeling nervouse about the funeral ,maybe it becouse ive treid to put it to the back of my mind and its coming to a head now and i have got to be up eary tomorrow and i have trouble sleeping at the best of times.So thanks again for the kind words and supportMalcolm

My one a day is not to take loved ones for granted and offloading your problems on them as much as i have done, so i would like to say sorry for being so Well done Kirstie for still being off the ciggy's you are doing realy well and i hope i do just as well
