This is the opposite of Pete who seemed to indicate he was angelic but in the last week showed his true colours by exposing the true manipulative Pete inside with his communion with the 'afterlife' and his prophecy of his win. LOL!
Ash is likely the best winner BB has had:
1/ Craig - winner of a pretty boring BB relatively speaking and pretty plain himself.
2/ Brian - hugely overrated winner that won by constantly clowning himself through the show.
3/ Kate - another boring winner that never really had any real reason of winning at all.
4/ Cameron - Sigh.
5/ Nadia - the ONLY other worthy winner bring a transexual that somehow the public warmed to and because of the Jungle Cats vs the Harem faction, we ended up with two prominent members of each side in the final. Nadia however won even though she was the butt of MANY jokes within the house. That was somehting.
6/ Anthony. Probably the most unworthy winner EVER including Cameron.
7/ Aisleyne - the only HM that has shown complete growth from her entry to exit revealing her true nature, realising much about herself and the public warms to the nice 'good' Ash at the end. Add to that like Nadia she never dreamed of winning and even worse expects to be hated when she leaves. When she become a hero - Grace's nemesis, the only true person in there (except for Jennie I suppose who never had enough time to stand a chance of winning)and most important the publis way of saying THEY decide who wins not Endemol.
I really like Ash. I didnt like her as much before but there was something about her that made me realise she wasnt showing her trule colours at all. And I was right.

Another post by baggiefantastic (dated 17 August):
There have been a lot of opinions expressed of late regarding the Machiavellian test; Machiavellian meaning 'using clever but often dishonest methods which deceive people so that you can gain power or control'.
On the surface, this is making Aisleyne an easy target. Many opinions expressed use this as 'reasoning' to discredit her. Fair enough - each and every one of us is entitled to our opinion.
But I do ask you to consider this. Prior to joining the BB house, how many housemates do you honestly believe did not use some degree of manipulation to get on the show? Is it not fair to say that BB producers are looking these days for someone who is going to cause a stir, a shock factor, unrest and discord within the house?
That BB decided to play the housemates their tapes is evidence of this. Why? Because very rarely do housemates actually live up to expectations and where BB has achieved the shock factor (to an extent anyway) is by showing housemates their audition tapes. But does this show them in a bad light? Hardly!
Nikki was shown to be a bit of a man-eater – a girl who was lad mad and wanted as many as she can get her hands on. Whether true or not, I really don’t think she was that pleased to see it, especially whilst in Pete’s arms. With Nikki though, she does have Pete to provide that comfort and reassurance that everything will be okay when she leaves, whatever the reception she gets. Glyn and Aisleyne don’t have that comfort zone to tap into.
What it showed is that Glyn for instance, was chosen for BB because here was this enigma of a geeky teenager who felt he was a great looking bloke and a hit with the ladies! I think he's proved that if that was his opinion prior to joining the house, he has seen how wrong he was and has grown in stature and confidence. He realises now that he doesn't have to say these things to be a hit with anyone. That juvenile arrogance has all but left his system, if indeed it existed in the first place - which I doubt. Job done. He got on the show. But part of him remains concerned at how he is being perceived on the outside.
Aisleyne I think is similar in the way that it was an embarrassment for her to watch her tape. I saw a further layer of attitude peeled away last night, revealing a self-awareness that she has maybe never experienced. There was a genuine mixture of 'Who on earth is that person on the screen?' together with 'I never want to be that person ever again'. Was Aisleyne upset? Hell - yes. Will there be a positive outcome as a result? Hell - yes again!
I do not doubt for one second that Aisleyne has displayed some Machiavellian tendencies. But I feel that most housemates have done so. Richard adapted very quickly to the House Next Door for instance. Rather than being the ‘confronter’ he was the one being confronted and it completely threw this man who had been so willing to take the moral high ground for Susie at one time. How Susie must have felt let down by his manner when he simply blended in with those he had once been seemingly prepared to confront.
Where Aisleyne has used Machiavellian tendencies, it has been in situations where she has provided comfort and empathy to others. Is that a bad thing? I don't think so - in fact I could argue that although these traits appear Machiavellian, they are actually qualities that are part of her now. She has never been afraid to confront and stand up for what she believes. The reason for this is the gradual transformation over many weeks. It's not as if Aisleyne was all attitude one minute then 'Earth Mother' the next? No - Aisleyne has, I believe, had to dig deep inside herself in the realisation that attitude on the surface is no substitute for genuine heartfelt emotion. Ais knows now that to succeed in life, you need to be true to who you really are and not who you might prefer to be seen as. And with 24/7 coverage of the BB house, there can be no denying the change she has experienced. Sometimes painful, sometimes amusing, but always a pleasure to witness.
Well-done Ais! Big Brother has provided you with the microcosm of life and the opportunity to dissect your personality and manner in a way real life rarely affords a person. You did yourself no favours in the early days but boy, you've done yourself a huge favour now by growing into the woman who will now leave the house! Whatever happens – you’re a winner.
Ais to win!

Posted 17-08-06 23:42 BY CUDDLESTHEFOX Ok housemates, you get a bit p*ssed off with all the tension and desperation that you all gang up on the girl who got booed every week and a girl who they believe is going out first. That's really brave of you all. Firstly, Jennie. You are either suffer from amnesia or you are trying desperately to cover up a severe lapse of judgement in trying to get off with Pete on live TV with your boyfriend watching. Hey, blame Aisleyne. Nikki, You want to be a kept women so you ditch the footballers wife plan and see the more realistic opportunity, a Big Brother winners wife. So you've been out and seen the hatred for the girl who put you in your place and thought "I'll be even more popular if I show my hate for her". Richard, you've been so far up Pete and Nikki's holes for the last 2 weeks they have started thinking you are actually a turd with a gay face. Not content with this, you love to beat up Aisleyne because it's THE thing to do isn't it? Petey, Petey, Petey. Like a 3 minute speech is going to make a difference but you know it's a great opportunity to to hit the punchbag again. Glyn? He's like a bloody pinwheel, spinning round so much. This bunch of little bullies can't help it. Don't blame them for having a privillage life with their spackle encrusted fetish gear, spangly hotpants and houses bought for them by Daddy... Oh, sorry, I forgot about Pete touring with the Communards, that would have drove me to smack and back too. Aisleyne was homeless as a teenager, not thhat she goes on about it, was dragged up yet has still made herself a life ON HER OWN. She's had it rough and has faults coming out of her ears but despite everything, I like her for being a normal decent lass who can look in the mirror on Saturday and see a winner staring back whatever the result. Unlike the rest who would sell their souls for a bit of fame. Aisleyne knows she won't win. She thinks she'll go out first to boos and hatred, as do all the other HMs. But I want to see something special tomorrow night. TV gold if you like. I want to see Aisleyne's smile, I want to see that girl in tears of disbelief as she sits in between Glyn and Pete waiting for Davina to announce the result. It will be like seeing Pulp performing Common People at Glastonbury all over again. If she wins... I'll just cry at the face of a really lovely girl who finally got a little of what she's been missing in life.

Post by Orchid on 18 August:
The show has revolved around Ais this summer!
She has been a central character. When I am looking for entertainment by a housemate, I do not necessarilly want Comedy Central.
I want a housemate who is interesting to watch and has different aspects to their personality. This is what is so great about Aisleyne.
She is tough but she is very vulnerable the tough exterior hides a heart of gold.
Contributed very little?
Aisleyne and Sezer
Aisleyne deals with the b1tches in the house
Aisleyne stands up for Suzie
Aisleyne puts up with Spirals obsession with her
Aisleyne being terrified of booing
Aisleyne and the house next door
Aisleyne and Jonathan
Aisleyne fake or saint?
Aisleyne abandoned by her mother
Aisleyne, Aisleyne, Aisleyne. She is all we have talked about all summer long!
She is not 'in your face' funny like Nikki allegedly is but she is a pivitol character, a complex and interesting character, multidimensional, tough but caring, able to see her faults and correct them, able to take criticism and able to know when to hold back and be tender.
THIS is why we love her, she has her faults but she is so human.
As for Richard and Glynn, we can put up with the bufoonery from Glynn for a little while but then we would have been bored stupid by now, also Richard's catty one liners would have taken him through but we have seen it all before with our Brian (love him).
When considering who has 'entertained' we should not be looking for a comedy show, we should be looking for the people who have kept us on the edge our seats all summer. That person is Aisleyne Horgan Wallace

I just wanted to say, to everyone who voted for Aisleyne, look what an amazing job we did.
Watching last night, at her disbelief that jennie went out first was brilliant. Watching Nikki's reaction was a bit scary. She started having a breakdown that Jennie was going first, and then it looked like they reasoned, well Jennie wasn't here long so Ais will go next.
She heard them booing her (what kind of person boo's at the final?? IMO) but it wasn't her next, it was Nikki. Nikki looked as if there had been some kind of big mistake, or Davina was joking but I wont focus on that, I will focus on Aisleyne and her look once again, of utter disbelief. Her "I dont understand's" and lack of belief, that here she was in the top four!!
I was so happy that Ais came third, it was as good as first place. I loved the way she said, "I don't care if they boo me now" because she knew she had fans and people who did "get" her, and that everything would be ok. She said well done and good luck to Glyn and Pete- there was no look of disappointment or upset, just happiness that she was third. I wanted to cry for her.
I have never been so passionate about voting for a housemate ever before, nor have I ever felt it was money well spent. Aisleyne was so happy, having spent weeks being convinced by her housemates and herself she would be first out to a nation of haters, she finally saw she couldnt be more wrong.
She gave a very good interview and I have no doubt that I made the right decision to vote. All the haters told us we'd see the real Ais, she wouldnt thank us, we'd see the Ais that went in but she thanked the people who voted (none of the others did!) and gave her interview with dignity and Grace.
This is my long rambling way of saying I am happy for her, and for her fans, and for all the FAKERS who always saw the real Ais. If sh ever reads this forum, to see what people thought I just want to say
AIS YOU'RE A STAR! WE LOVE YOU!

Some people said this was the best post about Aisleyne ever. High praise indeed for jane72 who posted it on 18 August under the title "Emotional rollercaster".
Quote No, not Aisleyne’s, ours. Of all the housemates to ever have strolled through those doors, never have we had such an emotional attachment to one of them as we have done to her. Over time, we have witnessed a girl, with a slightly spikey air of arrogance, swoop into a hostile environment, sting the house bully with her sharp but accurate tongue, and challenge every viewers prejudices, with her complex mix of “ghetto, rude girl”, compassionate empathiser and an underestimated vulnerability .
Great we all thought, another promo girl, hyped up and made up to secure a place in reality TV history as eye candy for typical male BB viewer. Yet from that first not-so-stereotypical outburst to Sezer many have been fascinated by her. Would she deliver? Oh yes, and so much more. Not totally giving up her toughened exterior, but underneath it all we could see this raw, unpolished diamond, mature and grow. She beat off the bullies, stood tall, and suddenly the floodgates opened to a whole different set of fans. No longer fitting that young stereotype, but a full cross section of society ready to look behind that toughened exterior and seek out what made this girl tick.
Over time, we have been, surprised, saddened, laughed, cried and cringed at this blossoming girl took who had already started on her long journey inside the house. What she doesn’t realise, is that in starting that journey, she has taken so many of us along for the ride too. For all the twists and turns inside the house, there were many on the outside too. Housemates who were evicted for their vile behaviour towards her seemed to be ‘congratulated’ The sister shows of BB blatant bias toward certain housemates, the growing hatred toward her on these forums and audience members of the sister shows seemed to have been borne out of this bias, which by now wasn’t only for certain HMs but against Aisleyne herself. No-one could really understand where this hatred was coming from. Sure, not everyone was going to like her, but the most venomous of things were being said against her. Why? I sill do not understand.
We now weren’t just supporting one of the hms, we were fighting for her. Every action, every word, every look, blink, sigh and hair flick were being scrutinised. We were forced into defence mode. In doing this we actually began to scrutinise her ourselves, and I think it was at that point I realised just how human she was, flawed yes, but how would I have reacted in that same situation? Every time I had to defend her or argue over a silly hand gesture, or bad edit in a highlight show, I found I was writing from the heart. I actually cared what was being written about and for her. She now wasn’t just a contestant in a TV show. She was a human being who deserved more than all the hate. And as if to seal the emotional bond with her the heart wrenching story of her mothers abandonment emerges and we are hooked.
Fakers had now come into their own. And post after post of fantastic analysis and opinion swept the board. Some of these even swaying opinions of others who really had not looked in on Ais at that level before. They too now saw beyond her projected persona. And appreciated her complexity. The vile b**ching by Jayne and Nikki made hard viewing. And now we were becoming angry at BB’s reluctance to punish Jayne for her rule breaking. It almost seemed like Jayne was being “allowed” to influence the house against Ais for some reason. But the public spoke, and Nikki was evicted with 34% of the vote in an 11 horse race. Quite a significant result really, or so you would have thought.
Big Brother continued the bias, and now seemed to actively participate and condone this hatred. Now, we witnessed something else, BB’s more sinister side, the side that truly seemed to want to hurt her. The ex Hms lined up ready to “beat her up” “knock that ghetto princess’s crown off”. All cheered on by the host. This was going to be great TV, wasn’t it? To top it all BB wanted to put back Nikki. All a bit contrived really, seeing as she was one of the Hms who were shown positive bias, and she also voiced obvious malice toward Aisleyne.
Now we had to face fear. Yep, we actually feared for Aisleyne, in an edge of the seat show we watched from the behind the sofa, preying for Aisleyne to find the strength to keep it together, whatever BB was going to throw at her . Letters of complaint were being sent of to whom ever it may concern about this latest engineered “car crash TV”. The night of the re-entry and Fakers and fans alike felt sick at the thought of what may happen in there. One push too far from the rejected housemates and Aisleyne may well blow it. Yet who’s fault would it have been? I doubt endemol would have taken any blame, no, it would have been Aisleynes fault, and BB would have been vindicated in their bias portrayal of her.
Much to the relief of her fans, she didn’t bite. She actually wanted to see Nikki and Lea again, and why wouldn‘t she? .
Ais wasn’t up for eviction that week either, she also wouldn’t be sent in to the lions den with 4 HM’s who wanted her blood. Oops, BB you failed on that one, Didn’t quite go to plan did it? Oh, wait, It’s Graces birthday, and she’ll be 21. Now, Grace hates Ais, what shall we do? Thinks BB, Ah, she wants to “tell a few people what exactly what she thinks” I wonder who she could be talking about? And lo and behold, Grace gets to spend 21 mins in the main house. I wonder what Grace will do with her time? Blissfully unaware of the impending drama that is set up between the two girls, Ais watches grace walk in. The look on Ais’s face a picture, while at home, we all watch with a deep, pit of the stomach sickening nervousness. but Grace didn’t go to plan either did it? Ais respects Graced birthday, yet sticks determinedly to her principals that we saw emerging in earlier weeks and simply lets her feelings known “I hope you apologised to Suzie” she says. She doesn’t push it, but never crosses the line and we all sit back, relieved and so proud of our Aisleyne. She really hasn’t performed in any way less than dignified.
Further rule breaks inside the house next door. Richard and Imogen being fed biased information in a pathetic attempt to sway opinions of Ais, by all the ex Hms. One of them will go back, and how will they react to Ais then? Simple, Richard cant even look her in the eye, he has been poisoned against her and will now start a new champagne to belittle Ais. Just like he did with shahbaz.
Ais now appears beaten. She is now so alone in the house, with no-one to ally herself with, totaly ostracised from the group. While she sits sobbing in the garden because she didn’t fall at Pete’s feet and worship him, or she sits repeating self loathing words to herself in the belief that she really is a stupid pathetic failure who EVERYONE on the outside world detests. We watch through tear filled eyes. No, Aisleyne, you have been greatly wronged. While ALL the other Hms have had some indication that they are doing great on the outside, all you have heard is the boo’s. Yet you are the only worthy winner in so many peoples eyes. Even some of those so against you in the past now see your situation and feel deeply for you.
Through out all of this Ais has been accused of being “fake” These cries of "fake" fall on many a deaf ear because we just don't see it. She has been manipulated by both BB and the other housemates and just keeps on shinning. Any actress who provoked such an emotional reaction in their audience would have achieved something even the most talented of actresses still only dream of. Making the audience care about them that much is a real acheivment, yet many of you would have us believe Aisleyne is not for real.
Many fans do not even watch BB for it’s “entertainment” value anymore. We just continue to keep an eye out for our Ais. Aisleyne you have had the most profound affect on many people.
One more turn on the roller coaster to go. But this will be in great contrast to recent weeks. When you realise that the public really do like you, that you are actually more popular than Nikki, Richard and possibly even Pete. Your elation will be mirrored throughout the nation.
FAKER No 474 and so proud!

battybetty post of 20 August:
Dearest Aisleyne
The story of your journey both before and after you entrance to the BB house, is as fascinating and heart warming as you yourself. I relate to all of your imperfections as much as I admire you for your humour, strength, warmth, patience, compassion, appreciation and tolerance of others opinions and feelings, your humility, vulnerability, insight, determination, love of life and your abiding desire to better yourself.
You’re certainly nobody’s fool; you saw through Sezer within minutes of entering the house. Take credit for being shrewd, as it’s clearly been a vital tool for your survival throughout the hard times, both before and after you joined the house.
We know you’re not perfect, who is? At times, when you’d screech or chomp noisily on your food, you’d have me shouting at the TV or wincing, pretty much as I would if it were one of my sons behaving that way. But, just as with my sons, you have made me feel proud, proud to be counted amongst your many supporters. Not once have you ever shown the slightest sign of real malice or hatred. Your good heart shines out.
The longer you remained in the house the more giving a person you became, yet still you failed to see your own true value. I felt the genuine pain in your voice when you spoke of feeling less than all of your fellow HM's. I recognised that feeling all too well myself. Little doubt that you desperately needed the reassurance of positive responses from others and would use your wonderful ability to empathise with people, to help you gain a share of the attention.
As your misguided critics have persisted in venting their unfounded venom against you, I have only felt more and more protective towards you; the way I would a daughter or a dear friend. I would consider that to be an honour. You are a true survivor.
Now that you have made the final three and were placed top female, I hope you realise that you have far more worth than you give yourself credit for. And I pray that the world is kind to you now that you have emerged from the protective BB bubble you openly loved so much. Congratulations, you are a winner in our hearts. We will never forget you or the way you brought us all together.
Relish your victory as much as you rivals revelled in your low points. You do deserve good things to happen to you. Keep on keeping it real, don’t get dazzled by hype. Instead, maintain that wonderful final night dignity, don’t let anyone put you down and wear your thong with pride. Stay strong girl, and now that you feel that you finally ‘know yourself’ never again forget, and know also that you are truly loved by many.

ohdearieme! One Gold Star Picture of ohdearieme!
Posted 20-08-06 15:42 Hi Fakers, I am low profile now that the main purpose of our challenge is over. I am looking in here and there however to pick up any further news on Aisleyne that I might have missed. I have noticed that the negative people have attempted to continue with their antics even on Aisleynes forums. I wonder if all they want to do is spoil everything for everyone why they dont just leave the forum as they have nothing of any interest to say.
I feel they do it just to be the last person and prove their point. As far as I am concerned I find them highly unentertaining and a real blot on the forums, mostly same old names and same old sarcasms. We as Fakers know that Aisleyne was the winner of BB7. As far as I am concerned there was enough evidence pointing to it even in the last minute voting. But in my opinion it just was not part of the 'plan'. I had my own suspicions about things much earlier on and stated a few things in that direction.
Aisleyne is a mirror of the Fakers and represented more than just a contestant on this show, it was a more magnified situation than that. All Fakers you are the most wonderful people, you know yourself that Aisleyne won and because she won, we won over any injustice that was ignored in our lives. Let people do their damage if they are so narrorminded and silly and continue to consider yourself Fakers are the real bounty of todays society. I have loved being part of the debates and respect you all.
Aisleyne's name will echo long after any of the others...for sure Wink I may join you for the afterparty..it will be rough I expect, but we have each other...

Posted 20-08-06 15:48 Well done for all your dedication and hard work on the forums. Big big thanks! Valentine
However it seems the trolls managed to take the tribute thread down. Roll Eyes I even posted this message for you here once before and the list was growing again, but miraculously that went also! Nasty little trolls are feasting today!
I hope you had already backed up most of the genuine responses in word, but there were quite a few new messages for Aisleyne, including my own and one from NoBrains. I have re-posted my own message for Ash in DogTireds thread on the GF but here it is yet again just in case you miss it:

Posted 22-08-06 19:25 I hope Aisleyne can read this, does anyone know the chances of this?
I miss bb and I so miss looking forward to seeing Ash outclass the housemates with her behaviour.
This Ash forum has far more posts than any other HMs' forums, which says something.
If only the other HMs showed the loyalty and caring that she showed to them.
Good luck for the future Ash, whether it be in the spotlight or not, never forget that you were the most worthy winner, even though I know you were happy for Pete.
You were the only one who apologised properly for yourself, even though you did not really have to. They showed the worst bit of your audition tape, and still it was not that bad, understandable too, given your experiences (you smiled really cutely after saying what you said!). They showed a harmless bit of Richard's audition.
You did not really have to apologise for what you thought was aggressive behaviour during the week you were nominated. Nikki and Lea did far worse to you than you ever did to them.
If you can, Ash, catch Grace Dent's blog (don't worry, she is no relation to the Grace in the house), she has been perceptive about the house and has been supporting you all through. She is no fool, rest assured. Believe what she has written about you, it's the truth.
